Great Tool
The Joe Porper TIP Burnisher Pool Cue tip Tool is a must have if you do your own work on your tips. it gives a nice factory type dressing on the sides of the tip to prevent mushrooming. I lost my last one and was determined to replace it because it works so well. a little pricey and can be hard to find but worth it.

Great Tool
One of the best tools I have ever found for burnishing the tip on my cue. Others, especially the metal ones tend to bite a bit hard and I have had them pull the tip off by accidentally applying too much pressure. This toll evenly compresses the sides of the tip, repairing any "mushrooming", leaving the tip perfectly square and burnished. I use it almost every time I pull my cue out of the case.

too small
I have a 12mm cue and just replaced the tip with a 13mm tip, after completing instalation need to buy a shaper, my cue barely fits in this.
