Windshield Washer Motor Pump, Keenso SI-AT23011 12V Universal Windshield Washer Pump for Car Van Bus Truck

Used this to replace the washer unit in a classic car. East to wire and mount and works great.

Pump is much smaller than expected. For reference if you lay it ontop of a credit card you'll have extra space. This isn't bad though,taking up less space is good in an aftermarket pump. Makes a decent amount of noise if you have the hood open but nothing outrageous. Surprisingly strong and effective, the motor housing is metal and the pump side is a type of plastic. I would say I'd buy it again, but this is the third one I've already bought and been happy with.

Installed this in my 78 MGB to replace the original that had stopped working. It is a solid replacement that fit the stock location. Overall it works well. It’s a much louder than the original, but works just fine.

Pump initially started moving water (poorly). Then stopped working all together after 1 minute. Took it apart and the motor was just spinning inside the drive gear. Appears they used a gear with a round hole in middle instead of a slotted hole to engage the motor shaft which has a flat side. Maybe a one-off build mistake? Useless in either case.

When it's working it's a pretty impressive little pump for the size and price. Unfortunately mine stripped out the gear the second I turned it on. One of the gears has a flat spot on the inside to interface with the motor shaft and the shaft just rounded the inside out. I didn't have time to go through the return process so I just stuffed the hole with some epoxy putty and then pushed the shaft through the hole and let it dry.Once it was dried it fired up and worked really well. I guess three stars?I was a little concerned with the size of it when I received it but it puts out an impressive force for it's size. I guess if you're not in to fixing the gears if they strip out then cross your fingers, but if you get a good one then it works well. Might be worth the risk for the price.

Replaced the $195 pump on my Corvair with this <$10 item. Although it's tiny (would fit in a Waffle House coffee Cup) it would wake the dead. CAUTION: It is polarity sensitive -- but most important, it works very well, and at the price, you can buy a second one (I did) in case the first one craps out. GO FOR IT.
