Yes, I used the G4 LEDs to convert all my 12v halogen yard lights over to LED. Be sure to order the appropriate color intensity LEDs.

The glass body diameter is. .40". The pins project .32" from the glass. The pin diameter is .028" and the center-to-center dimension of the pins is .158" I hope this helps.
