Works well
Great product, I highly recommend, I bought it to attach a microphone to my Canon camera. It works perfectly, just remember to go in to menu and change the audio from auto to manual.

Does not work
I have tried everything to get this to work. So after a lot more research it appears the micro USB needs to be a 10 pin version and have a resistor inside the plug which the go-pro senses and switches to the external mic. I can only guess this cable does not have that and therefore does not work. Very disappointed.

Robust and does what it says.
Good quality, and used with my chinese GoPro type camera to get a microphone working for much better quality audio with a rode mobile mice. Can't grumble.

Be sure to order the correct size.
The item I ordered was fine however I thought I had ordered the correct size but unfortunately did not. My mistake.

doesnt work with a Canon 6D Mk 11
there are l;lots of these on the market, but it wouldn't work with my Canon DSLR
