The package states, ‘refrigerate after opening’. The package also shows a ‘best if used by’ date, which is about 18 months out, in my experience.

What do you mean? Any of their products are bullion in liquid concentrate, hard to know as there is such a variety of products. For myself, I use only this or Miso products...very versatile and delicious.
