Revitalised
These are the manufacturer's (Beyerdynamic) replacement earpads, not a copy, purchased from Amazon.I have had a pair of original DT990s for over 20 years and have recently started to use them again. I noticed that the original earpads had no life left in them so ordered these as a replacement. There was an instruction sheet included in the packaging but I had already seen a youtube video online and it was all pretty straightforward. The old pads came off quickly and the new pads were fitted in minutes. I didn't bother with the foam centre as my old pair had a felt material that looked like it was glued in place so I left those in placeThese new velour earpads appear to be better made than the original pads that I removed and are quite plush and now the headphones are much more comfortable.

Breathed New Life into my DT 990s
Exactly what you'd expect. Ear pads, and they're black.Fit perfectly and it's like having a new pair of headphones again. Also just highlighted, even more, how rank my last set had become over the years. Yum.Definitely worth it.

Nice for DT770
Bought these for my DT770's as the silver ones were getting a bit worn and dirty. They fit just like the old ones and my headphones are a pleasure to wear again.Just a small warning though. These give a more open back feel. If you want to keep the closed back feel of these headphones I'd advice buying the silver ones or the leather ones. This doesn't bother me at all though so I'm going to continue to use them.

Great ear pads, at an acceptable price. A nice change for the DT 880s
Great replacement ear pads for my DT 880s. Keep in mind that these should not be paired with the DT 770s as they will change the sound quite significantly as these are not designed for closed-back headphones.

Good for Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro
Good for Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro, changes the sound to a more "Open" type, the bass seems more controlled and I find the soundstage to be improved..? Either way, better than the split pleather ones that came with it :)
