Got product installed was a little difficult due to the laptop motherboard itself. But once I got that kink worked out, I had no issues with getting the battery in.The only concern I had was that battery came at 95% life instead of 100. I'm not talking about the charge on it. On dell as soon as you turn your laptop on, hit f12 repeatedly. Once boot up menu displays arrow d9wn to diagnostic and hit enter. Run the basic test. At the end hit the small arrow bottom right corner. It will display the life percentage of the battery (again not the charge but the actual life of battery)

Easy to find the replacement battery I needed and after receiving the new battery, it fit perfectly. Had my laptop up and running in about 20 minutes. The price was reasonable and the placing the order was as easy as it gets.

Re: Dell Inspiron 14 &15. The installation IS EASY, 11 screws (3 near hinge are captive) to remove the bottom cover, 4 more to release the battery Dell 15). My issue (and many others having same, if you read the Dell Knowledge forum) is the original battery heats, expands, etc. and in the process the KEYBOARD ribbon cable pressed under the battery sticks to the old battery. Mine seemed glued on, it is not glued on. In my effort to unstick the keyboard cable (wide cable) it had pulled loose of the connector (white with black bar marked "KB" on the main board) and the end slipped under the board. It appeared to originate from under the board after I got the old battery out, so I didn't notice the problem. I put everything back together (not the KB cable) and had no working keyboard to log-in to Windows! Note that the KB cable is just a ribbon without a connector, so to reinsert it lift the black bar, make sure the ribbon is inserted straight and fully (mine wanted to seat at an angle) then press the black bar down to secure the ribbon. Battery replacement really is easy. Hope these details help the next guy.

Replaced the original laptop battery with this one. Everything is working great. Appears to be OEM. Just wish Dell made a higher capacity model for my laptop.

Got this for my wifes dell, it showed up and it fit perfect and worked well for several months. However within a year it started showing signs of failure, and by 15 months it's totally shot. It'll read full in windows then just shut off. It'll also give weird errors, and I'm pretty sure it's starting to swell.
