I believe they are Turkish; dark colored but really delicious.

Terrasoul is excellent in responding to an email. If you have any questions or an isszue with their product, just send an email. I send them a recipe for apricot tea and they responded the same day.

Q: Are the bags supposed to be air tight to keep from possible spoilage or poisoning? My bag just came in full of air. Pressed on it & air came out.

You should probably contact the seller or Terrasoul. I ordered mine awhile ago and didn't experience any problems. I would think it should have been sealed tight prior to opening.

Q: Potassium is high in dried apricots but these have 0. How is this possible?

Because 1 serving is 1 apricot (10g). Other brands list 40g apricots as 1 serving, so those appear to contain 4-5x more potassium per serving than this item. Apparently Terrasoul wants to market this 2 Lbs bag as 90 servings, but you see the size of the apricot in the picture. You'll probably eat more than 1, so odds are you'll get ~20-30 servings instead of 90 "servings."
