Handles are short as others have noted; we bought the longer ones and they are still shorter than other sandwich grills we have had in the past. We have used them six times already and love them.

These are just like the ones I remember as a kid. They are the best pie irons out there.

Was a hit around the campfire!! Made pizza pockets and Nutella marshmallow pockets was amazing! Even though they were the extra long handles I wish they were a bit longer that's all

I bought 2 of the XL Toas-tites a little less than 10 years ago on Amazon. I have only used them on a campfire. We made "pizza" pies, breakfast sandwiches (bread with scrambled eggs, cheese, and whatever else filling), and cinnamon rolls. For the cinnamon rolls, we used 1 roll from a pre-packaged refrigerated tube. I don't remember how long on each side was cooked, but they turned out great ( flip often to prevent burning). Spread with icing after cooking.I don't know why so many reviews are negative. One review has pictures with a pie iron broken into pieces. I wonder if the reviewer received a knock-off brand.
