Saved My Favorite Flip Flops (and My Wallet)
My beloved Rainbow flip flops have been everywhere with me—beaches, cities, hiking trails—and I thought they had finally reached the end of the road. Then I found Barge Toluene Free All Purpose Cement. This stuff is a miracle in a tube. It’s super easy to use, dried quickly, and honestly feels stronger than the original glue the manufacturer used. The best part? It cost a fraction of what a new pair would have. Not only did I save money, but I also got to keep my trusty travel companions intact. If you’ve got something you love that’s coming apart at the seams, give this a try. It might just save your stuff (and your heart).

Good product
Needed it to repair my Birkenstocks. Worked fabulously. I recommend.

Works Well Enough
I'm glad it's toluene free but keep in mind that it still smells. The glue tends to dry really quickly leading to the glue becoming "gummy" while I'm still spreading it. All in all, not a bad contact adhesive. Works well with leather and holds really well. I think I'll have to get a pint size or quart sized container soon.

Still Works
You know what? This works fine.I expected to be disappointed with the "toluene free" version of Barge cement based on some of the reviews and my general experience with products that switch to less harsh solvents. I decided to give it a go anyways since you can only buy the yellow-label stuff in large quantities (or from ebay sellers who decant into small containers which inevitably dry up early). If you follow the directions it works fine. Prep all surfaces, apply to both, allow to dry, and then apply with firm pressure (or beat on with a hammer). These are the same steps you need with the yellow-label stuff, and it won't work well if you skip any. If you don't want to wait, find another glue.Still smells awful, but not quite as bad as the yellow stuff.

Too small
It was very expensive, I thought I was buying the tube I always bought locally. Couldn’t find it, so I bought on line, h the tube recieved was less than half of what I previously bought at the same price or lower.Won’t buy that again!

works on CROCS
bought for a project where adhering metal to some CROCS was required. This product was as advertised. The surface needs to be smooth. We took a grinder an removed some of the finished surface from the croc to ensure good surface area contact.
