Glove looks and feels great to my kid! He loves it. It has some padding at the heel, it could have been a touch more, but overall nice profile. It has an adjustable strap along the back of hand to further tighten if needed, but I noticed the attached Velcro doesn't run the length of the strap, so if you really what the tightness at it's maximum you'll run out of Velcro needed to lock in that tight fit... So there's some limit to customizing the fit. No deal breakers though; for the price it is a great buy and will last. A nice glove for youths learning for the first time.

Cheap, but functions as a glove for working with children who are beginners. Has a very plastic feel and is hard to close, but does the job for what it is supposed to. Definitely not a leather feel, and you will be like wow this is cheap, but it functions like a glove should. I wouldn't get this glove for a child who is 8+ instead I'd spend the money on a leather one that will close much easier!

This is NOT ready to play/broken in. I've had this for about 2 months now and still have trouble trying to break it in. The mitt itself is fine, but saying that it's ready to play and no break in required is very false advertising.

Perfect gift. My nephew wanted two gloves - one for him and one for his brother - so they could throw at home. These were perfect for the price, soft and ready to use, and came on time for the birthday party.

Just needed a glove to play catch with my son in the back yard. Was worried that this would feel cheap but it feels great. Takes a little work to break it in but not any more than other gloves I've owned. May not be the best glove ever but for casual catch and back yard play it is perfect.

I don’t leave a lot of reviews so I hope this helps you guys, this is my second mitt of the season as mine had the laces rip through the glove and now there’s a big hole.(mind you I’m playing 1st base in league so the wear and tear is increased)The reason why I’m ordering again is because there was no break in and it felt amazing on my hands. Tbh at 20 bucks my mitt is arguably better than my teammates and can be used in game same day, so if you can swing buying one if one messes up just get this one
