Hi Shawn, it is a gen 3 pump, I just ordered one for my 2004 6.0l lq4, it came in and installed perfectly!

Q: My 10295 oil pump came with 2 springs, is there already a spring inside the pump or will I have to add one of the two?

The standard spring is in the pump, but take the pump apart and clean it before you use it. The other springs are explained on the directions paper.
