The ONLY bag I use!
This is the second Zuca Flyer I've purchased, and I absolutely adore it. The first one was the Zuca Flyer (regular). I bought it over three years ago, and it rapidly became the only bag I used for my professional projects. As a graphic facilitator, I have lots of different gear kits for different facilitation scenarios: the locker/compartment design of this bag allows me to easily organize my gear and simply plug-and-play when I pack for each project type. Organized, efficient, and simple! Plus the bag holds a TON!After using this bag practically every day for the last three years, one of its last airplane trips left it with a wonky axle on one of the wheels, causing it to squeel when pulled and making rolling more difficult. After unsuccessful attempts to righten the wheel, I went ahead and replaced the bag with the Zuca Flyer Artist. The regular Zuca Flyer comes with compartment bags that have mesh tops. The Artist has compartment bags that seal 100% with vinyl see-through tops. With this new Zuca bag order, I wanted bags that could completely contain my supplies. (Some of my pastels would crumble during repeated travel, and the mesh bags would allow the pastel powder to escape into the main compartment. For my uses, the 100% enclosed compartment bags were well worth the upgrade. This bag rolls like a dream, fits quite nicely into the overhead compartment of every airline I've flown (stow it wheels-out), it looks sharp with the black-on-black frame, the bag really does work well as a seat (used it as one a million times while waiting in boarding lines). After a few years of heavy travel, the black paint on the frame finally started to chip off some of the corners, but besides this and the recently wonked-out axle, my old bag is in perfect condition. No rips, tears, parts wearing out, nothing.Which is why I had to replace it with another one just like it! This bag is my workhorse (my beautiful, professional, stylish workhorse!) and I would not use anything else for project travel.

*HIGH QUALITY* WELL WORTH COST
There are so many reasons to buy this bag!- HIGH QUALITY- you can sit on it - great for anyone who travels- holds a lot of items in an ORGANIZED manner- LOOKS GREAT!- holds the matching Zuca Business Backpack perfectly- keeps all of my expensive personal care products, and make-up safely with me on my trips (make-up brush set, hairdryer, expensive hairbrushes, Clarisonic brush, etc.)- useful pockets on both sides of exterior and on interior of front flap.- well-made, nice looking SNAG-FREE insert bags- included travel cover- very smooth rolling wheels- easy to lift and place in overhead compartment for air travel- GREAT for use when traveling as a rolling vanity!I travel to see relatives every few months and this bag is my rolling vanity. They have a large family and do not have a full guest bathroom in their home, but I can roll this great-sized bag in their small 1/2 bathroom with only a pedestal sink (NO counter space!) and have everything I need to get completely ready in the mornings without having to come in and out of the bathroom in my robe to get things out of my suitcase. I even have a seat! This is well worth the high cost in my opinion.

Great Roller Bag!
I use the bag for Cornhole tournaments and it is great for setting on during the tournament. I bought the 2" cushion seat from Zuca which made the bag handy to set on in airports. TSA approved which makes the bag even more universal for traveling. Extra pockets are a bonus! I would recommend this bag to anyone.

High hopes, unfortunately Zuca couldn't deliver. Poorly designed, cheaply made.
I like to buy quality the first time and replace rarely. I travel a lot and was in the market for a new carry-on suitcase that I wouldn't have to dispose of after a couple years like most luggage so I figured why not get one with an aluminum frame that is according to Zuca "for the seasoned road warrior"? That should last me 10 years right? Not so. The bag was falling apart after 2 weekend flights. My first gripe with the Zuca is it is poorly designed. I was willing to overlook the lack of good way to "piggy back" a briefcase or smaller bag on the front. However, the lack of any external handles is also a problem. The bag includes a travel cover that goes over the bag and zips shut around the telescoping handle. I assumed this was for checking the bag, as any frequent traveler is bound to do at some point. However, what you soon realize is if you decide to actually check the bag and use the cover for what it's designed for, there's nowhere for the gate agent to affix the actual checked luggage tag. So you have to put it around the telescoping handle and leave the zipper open. That and any baggage handler or bell hop doesn't know what to do with it since it doesn't have any functional external handles.I guess I could lived with those issues, though after shelling out nearly $350 for a bag, you would think it would be more thoughtfully designed. But the last straw was the quality of the frame itself. After the first 2 weekend trips flying with the bag, yep, 2 trips, I was unpacking and noticed a nut on the floor. I didn't think anything of it and thought it must have come off something else, certainly not the bag I've only traveled with twice! Later when I was putting the bag in the garage, I noticed one of the screws on the frame was falling out. That's right, after the first 2 trips, the screws were already falling out.Bottom line. This bag is a piece of junk. Not recommended. Look elsewhere and wish me good luck in getting my money back.
