These are not a significant source of heat. You may want to look for infrared LEDs, epsecially the higher-wattage individual ones that output more light. Another alternative may be "grow" LEDs that have a mix of longer-wavelength lights and may produce some heat as well as light. If you really need heat, incandescent lights may suit you better.

You might want to check the battery in the remote. If that doesn’t change anything, try disconnecting and connecting the wire that interacts with the controller. I didn’t have this problem so I honestly don’t know what else to do unless the remote is not compatible with the led lights you’re trying to power.
