Used CP3: Too noisy, New CP2: Super Quiet!
The media could not be loaded. This is a good wave maker and I bought it used because it stated as almost new and to save money. I liked the wave maker; however, its advertised as quiet and it's definitely not quiet. I don't know why many people are saying its quiet for them and satisfied. For me, its definitely loud. Perhaps the person who had it before me returned it for the same reason. Maybe this one is defective or something is going on making the vibration too loud. I had to return it, and just get a new one. I'll post an update if it gets resolved.Update: Wow!! My new CP2 is so quiet!! It does enough surface agitation for my corner piece 55 gallon tank due to being taller than wide. I am so happy compared to the used CP3 I received before.

Great for Saltwater
Very quite and works great for my 15 gal saltwater tank. My anemones love the current this wave maker produces.

"The item was received in a damaged condition."
The product arrived poorly packaged, resulting in broken impellers. I’m unable to evaluate its performance, as both the original and replacement units were damaged in the same way. Fluval Sea should consider using foam inserts to better protect the item during shipping. I’m hesitant to place a third order and may consider a different brand.

Works as directed
Works for saltwater and freshwater. works good in a 75g tank. I use 2 in my reef tank. Easy clean with a tooth brush

I'm Impressed!
Just fired it up, aimed it at the halfway point of my 125G Peacock Cichlid aquarium and it has the perfect amount of power. I'm getting a very nice clockwise circulation, the debris is going towards my FX6 filter intake. The three suction cups hold it in position just fine. Motor is silent. Overall, I'm a happy customer!

Good pressure
I was in need of some oxygen movement up top in my fresh water 55g cichlid tank. I've never been a fan of "bubbles" as they also evaporate water quicker. This, pointed slightly upwards on one end of the tank and my canister filter supply on the other has helped a lot.
