Padding? You were kidding, right? This is very flimsy and cheap. It is "sewn" and "quilted" electronically...meaning melted at points to creat quilted look. The material is thin.... It might protect mattress from dust but the picture shows more plush than it really is. It does wash and dry up well and looks the same as when it came out of the package. I would not have bought this if I saw it first. It is way too pricy for what you get. I wound up buying this because camping world's protector/pad was on backorder and I needed something for a trip next week. Shop around.

Immediately out of the package I knew I wasn't going to like it. It was advertised as a "mattress protector" but really its just a plastic fitted sheet. There is NO PADDING whatsoever. The picture of the item is NOT what you will receive! I put it on the mattress to see if I would change my mind - nope. I can't imagine using this plastic sheet (because that's what it is) and having that plastic sound under you all night long! I guess if you need to protect a mattress from a bed wetter (or someone who sweats heavily at night) this might work but there is no padding and absorbtion principals at all. Not what I was expecting and definatly not worth the money. I'm planning to return it because I definately won't use it!

Poor quality, one corner was not sewn correctly. Customer rep was very polite. She authorized the return for credit of purchase prise. It cost me $9 to return this poor quality defective product.

We purchased this mattress to replace the factory mattress that came with our brand new Jaco travel trailer. We are so pleased with the comfort of this mattress, that we are planning to purchase one for our home!!!

This mattress cover is an excellent choice. It stays put and adds a little padding to our hard RV mattress with 2 inch memory foam pad on top. The mattress cover fits over both nicely. Would highly recommend this product.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I bought this to cover my brand new mattress and then my brand new kitten peed on the bed. They make you jump thru hoops to get the warranty. Even though they say I will get a new mattress I am still waiting for them to "inspect" the faulty cover. They send their techs to the house to clean the mattress, the tech says it won't clean. They don't even believe their own people. Then they send you a tag to ship the old cover, ground which takes 4-5 days. Then "maybe" they will order the new mattress. Are you kidding me???? Save yourself the nightmare. Go to Anna's Linens and buy one for $20.
