The Hose Bibb Lock works well to keep honest people from stealing water from your outdoor faucets. However anyone can snap off the "tabs" with the holes through which the padlock goes with little to no effort because the unit is made of pot metal. I would rate it "excellent" if it were made of brass. This would discourage even dishonest individuals from trying to get water from the faucet.because they could not just snap the locking tabs. Pasco quick lock set #21540
Key lock rusted solid and could not be unlocked after 2 weeks on my out door hose bib. I had to break the lock off.Pot mettle casting started to oxidize it should have been made out of brass, so I coted it with grease and reinstalled on to hose bib, and put on a new brass key lock.I would not recommend this quick lock set.

Who designs an outdoor lock that rusts!?! Locks rusted big time after 2 weeks so badly and I had to force the key into the lock and apply a lot of turning force to open. Not worth buying.DO NOT BUY
