This actually works with jag x-type I bought this to work with an iphone so i didn't have to keep an android phone just for engine codes Downside is can't look up the error codes as it takes the wifi but this does not affect my use.

It arrived on time, fitted in the car but then the link to the program to run it did not work and it did not work in the car either. Sent it back

Annoyingly you have to disable your data connection on your phone, in order to get the Wi-Fi connection to work (Android). I managed to get this working once. Then for no reason, it just wouldn't work again. You're better off with a Bluetooth version instead, and then there's no reason to mess with your data and Wi-Fi connection on your phone.

Works great. Considering that car garage diagnostic equipment is usually £2k+ for under £20 this was great. Bought in 2018 and still using it today to read and clear data. Once app is up and running works perfectly to select and set different cars.

A decent code scanner clears fault codes and engine management lights , downside is when you go to get the app for it you have to buy it aswell

Does not connect to Wifi

As described. links to iPhone app (also £10) then you have all sorts of live engine performance read outs and also can read some fault codes and clear them. Basic info but great at this price.

Works really well, I downloaded an app called Car Scanner and quickly identified the cause of the check engine light on my Subaru Legacy Diesel and reset it. The hardest part was finding the OBD port!
