KordaCarp Fishing NEW Mixa Hooks

Not sure about these. Did a few hours surface fishing last week and the first 4 takes I had were dropped almost immediately.Did bank one fish, on my very last cast! And it was a b**** to unhook. Was hooked deep in the mouth, not neatly in the edge of the mouth like usual.Couldn't get the disgorger to engage the hook and lever it out, didn't have forceps as I was fishing very lightweight tackle so had to get my fingers right in there, was pretty tricky.Think I prefer wide gapes but I'll try them a few more times just to make sure. They might work better on zig rigs.
