I got this for my dad after surgery and he noted then that it was useful.

I find this most useful for when I am gardening and need to move the hose or the sprinkler. Don't try to pick up anything very heavy!

This is not a great gripper. It's very weak. The ends warp in a very short time and when I tried to grab something that required a little bit of force, it broke. Only recommended if you need to consistently lift very light things. I would not purchase again...
