My daughter loves her wolf toys. She loves the color and the quality. Perfect size and durable. She loves playing with her toys for hours and she has a bunch of different types of animals. She was happy to add this wolf to her collection. Fun and playable for days hahaha

I honestly don't get why people are complaining about the size? Read the description! It very clearly states its size, and for this figure, its measurements are accurate. That aside, it's a very nice little figure! Lots of emotion. Identical in sculpt to the other howling wolf from Safari Ltd., except this one is in the black flavor. I really do prefer this one to the other, probably because well... it's a solid color, hard to fudge the painting of it! So this one is pretty much going to look great. It looks great with the little wild canid pack I have on a shelf in my studio. It seems like it would be sturdy enough to take rough play from children, and it makes a fine collector's item too.

It sits beneath my monitor at my desk. Wolves are my favorite animal and this one is just small enough that I can pose it on my desk. Details and paint job is fantastic. I can't affirm to its durability or if the paint will chip, because it doesn't get much action. Its very cute, and I will likely buy a few of the other wolves.

I bought this as a Christmas present for this years Christmas (2013). POSITIVE: I thought this was a great price, even though it was smaller than I thought it was. IMPROVEMENTS: First thing is in the picture, put something next to it so the size can be better judged, like a golf ball. Second improvement is put some kind of warning on it, either in the description or on the packaging. If there was, make it more noticeable. I accidently laid on it and the leg broke. I thought it was more durable. If I knew it was fragile, I would have been more cautious. The only reason I mention that is because I have seen kids playing with things the same size that I thought was made of the same material used and they abused a lot more. Honestly, the improvements didn't hurt rating. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because there are so many options to choose from when I was shopping for wolf figures that I would like to have a few more in my hands to compare to and truly give a 5 rating.
