We’re using it for nightly cleaning of retainers, and it works great. We’ve had one for a couple of years, still working well.Needed a second one, and tried a different brand that had a nicer look and half the price. It was loud and stopped working after two months. So bought another iSonic, and it’s so much better. Quiet, perfect size, not the prettiest, but just works. I specifically wanted one without the UV light, as I read it destroys the plastic of the retainer. This one is really the best.

Worked well for about a year, then suddenly malfunctioned. The “on/off” button stopped responding and the machine ran so much that it boiled the water, which melted the insides of the device and my plastic dental aligners, destroying them. This device was used infrequently and according to the manual. Unfortunately the warranty is only for 1 year and the manufacturer would not make an exception, even in this case. Definite safety hazard.

This portable ultrasonic denture and retainer cleaner is great for keeping things hygienic and spotless. Using on Suresmile clear aligners. Keeps them nice and clean. I use it once a week and clean them by brush daily. It’s easy to unplug and fill with water and dump afterward. I’ve used additives as well and works even better / cleaning my son’s crusty retainer in 3 runs and looks great. It runs very quiet.

It seems to help keep my partial denture clean. I do clean the denture with Dr. Bronner's baby soap and Dr. B's denture paste first, still I think this helps too. I do not use those tablets or anything like that as I think they are poison, just water and the 5 minute treatment (sometimes 2 treatments of 5 minutes). I recommend this unit with one criticism: it turns on too easily even when you are emptying it sometimes. You just have to handle it carefully. I have never used it for jewelry, and never will. My dental hygienist always thinks it is clean, so I figure this thing helps.

Device worked great until it quit today! 7 months old and stopped working. Did a great job but started making a different sound about a month ago then today it just quit

Stopped working after 10 months of daily use. Replaced for free under their 1 year warranty. Hoping this unit lasts longer.

The media could not be loaded. Only owned for six months but has stopped working - sporadically doesn’t turn on when you press the power button. Have to press the power button many times in hopes it will work.Updated-contacted the company and they replaced for free the next day. Excellent customer service
