Amba SAFSB-24 Solo 24" Freestanding 10 Bar Towel Warmer in Brushed

We live in a humid climate, so I wanted this for the drying aspect--as well as loving the idea of warm towels! This does both. You can't be in a hurry, but, if you're patient, towels dry and are warm when you need them. I leave it plugged in and turned on unless I'm out of town.

The unit wsa well-made. Power adjustment is easy to access. Timed feature would have been nice had it worked properly. There is q safety feature to keep it from overheating. The unit only took the chill off the metal.

The product works great for 30-45 days, then stops working. This is my second unit and it lasted a few weeks past the exchange window. I do not recommend it. Poor quality! Power light is on, but it won't heat.

I purchased the free-standing Solo 33” 9 years ago and it continues to operate perfectly. I purchased a second 24” 3 years ago and the same experience. By design, no towel warmer will get hot enough to heat outdoors or in an unheated area such as a garage. For this purpose, it would need to be designed for that environment and would be much more expensive. I am using a WiFi timer set to go on/off twice daily. The heat is perfect! Whenever we shower in the afternoon when it’s not on, we are sad using a cold towel. We are both spoiled and so glad we made this purchase.

Does EXACTLY what it is supposed to and it looks great. Buy a timer for it and it makes things so much better.

We purchased this product for our garage (live in upstate New York) to heat our towels when we got out of our hot tub. They are barely warm. Probably better for indoor use. An expensive mistake.

This is my second towel bar warmer. When I got it hubs thought it was indulgent. After he used it a while he said he always wanted one. That is until we got the second one. We like bath sheets. It is a joy to get out of the shower and be wrapped in a warm dry towel. The towels are much more absorbent when warm. The first one I purchased the first one in 2014. It was blissful. Then it broke in 2022. Manufactor sent a new switch. Didn't repair it. Purchased this one. What a dismal disappointment! The towels are only kinda warm. No More engulfing in a warm towel. It feels cold, wet and icky. My face feels some warmth but nothing on my body. I think I am going to have to return it. It just sucks. AND it was expensive. My quess is that they turned down the heat on the unit as it did scorch the towels as we left it on all the time. Which was NOT recommended.Now leaving it on all the time doesn't even get the towels warm. I lived with the scorch marks by purchasing dark towels. It WAS so worth it...Also check the return policy it sucks!

If you are looking for that out of the dryer feeling, KEEP LOOKING! When it did work the towel would be dry but not anywhere near the out of the dryer kind of warm. Then... it just stopped working after 1 week, I had no issues with returning the Amba towel warmer but they did charge me a restocking fee for $13.32 on an item that quit working! Way too expensive of an item for what it does when it actually worked.
