I had leaky gut very badly and did not absorb any nutrients or vitamins. Both my Bio-chemist from NYC and my Integrative doctor recommended this product and specifically this brand. I have been using it for 15 years now. It is amazing and I do not have any of my horrible gut problems that I live with for years. Plus I do data better diet. When I am not feeling well, or eat a lot of dairy and sugar I bulk up on this and take double the amount. I take it in my hot tea it dissolves nicely and it has no effect on the taste of the tea. It has no flavor. I take all my powdered supplements in hot tea they dissolve better than in juice or water. I take one to two teaspoons a day and feel great.

Working good for gut heath

A Naturopath recommended and sold me the first jar of this powder. I do like the lack of any flavor, and although it does not fully dissolve in any liquid I have tried--water juice--I don't mind drinking it this way. Most of the time, I add it to the Naturade Soy Protein Shake I make in the morning and then mix it with juice or water in the afternoon or at dinner. The price, even with shipping, was the same as at the Naturopath's.

My homeopathic doctor recommended this brand of L-glutamine powder for my weakened gut. I take 1/4 tsp. twice a day. I was happy to find this brand online for a great price. The large container is great for my long term usage.

Our doctor recommended that my husband take this once a day to settle his stomach. He has Crohn’s and this REALY helps him during a flare up. It’s easy to take. Flavorless. You just mix it in water.

I like the benefits of this product

I am SUPER histamine intolerant. My ND sold me this to heal my leaky gut but I can't take it AT ALL bc it triggers my histamine intolerance (/makes my ears pound, throb and ring). Last month I was using Leaky Gut Defense (which is mostly glutamine) and didn't have a reaction. Not sure what to make of any of this but in case someone has histamine intolerance, I wanted to share :)

My naturopath recommended this to me for a leaky gut (reactions to food, slow digestion ect.) I'm really happy with it. The bumps on my arms (which I've had as long as I can remember) started to go away after just a few months. I guess this means I'm absorbing more nutrients!
