Great product. Have ordered numerous times. Last order I received the diced in error. Kept it because I can always use it. Perfect product. Potatoes are firm, nice size and taste great in stews, in dishes, etc

If purchased on sale through warehouse/resale, then know that the best buy dates could be short. Kind of like when you buy from clearance section in grocery store. That being said, a regular purchase should have a year or two on it. Would be nice if those saying they have short dates on theirs were from a sale or not. I bought these on sale, and mine have a short best by date-- just a few months out. I am fine with that and expected it. These will be fine a few years from now if for some reason I havent gotten to them. Best by does not have anything to do with safety. The cans look good. No dents. That would bother me more. Use can opener to access contents. LOVE the diced potatoes. I dont often buy or use fresh potatoes let alone canned ones, but the diced sure come in handy for stretching meals and making quick meals. Even tastes pretty good direct from can! Nice for emergency situations. I like the diced better than the whole. More options, easier to use, and the general uniformity of the cubes are appealing. I keep canned potatoes in my pantry as it is sometimes a savings over buying fresh and failing to use them. I just dont go through enough potatoes. Keeping canned on hand is just convenient. I'll get the fresh when I have made a for sure plan to use them (ie roasted, mashed). My cans are packed to the brim. Pay a little more for this brand but I think I get more compared to some generics.

Bought a dozen can deal. Very good quality. Well, here is the Bachelors Trick Recipe. (Roasting Pan with Foil Liner) Drain the potatoes. Don't add any salt. Packed in Sea Salt water, so add some white or black pepper, a dash of garlic powder and drizzle of Olive oil on each. Roast at 375 - 400 Degrees for about 30 minutes. Turning half way during cooking. They come out fantastic!. My Father used to make these with a Pork Roast. As Kids, we called them "Pork Potatoes". Nice and soft inside and a semi-crusty texture on the outside. Works for us. Will buy again.

This is how I always buy my potatoes. They last a long time. I used them in all kinds of cooking. Great taste. Long lasting.
