Clinique Almost Lipstick Tinted Lip Balm in Black Honey | Sheer + Lightweight

So happy I bought this. It is lightweight and feels like a balm. The color is perfect for me. It looks natural and is moisturizing.

I pulled the plug and got black honey. To my surprise, it was on sale. I wasn’t sure about the shade, cause it looked very dark in the tube. To my another surprise, it is perfect and compliments the natural lip color. Since it is buildable, you are in control of how dark you want it. One layer and it can go as a gloss for no-makeup look, two more and you get a full coverage as an evening makeup. I am in love! As other Clinique products, you can expect a great quality. No smell, no taste, no stickiness, no drying of the lips. Perfect! If you’re on the fence because of the dark shade, keep in mind it works well with your natural lip color and compliments it nicely. I’m fair skinned, with a bit of tan for the reference.

Black honey. This is an absolutely beautiful shade. It’s worth all of the hype. I never really wore lipstick or lipgloss before despite strong efforts to do so, but I am in love with this product. It has a great feel on the lips, the packaging is really convenient and sleek but mostly I love the tint that it adds. Because it isn’t a full coverage lipstick you don’t have to worry about the color getting everywhere so I find it very unintimidating to reapply throughout the day. It doesn’t often pill up like some lipsticks do, ans the shape of the tube is great, not too bulky, makes applying easy. Again, I just fell in love with the color! I felt like it enhanced the color of my lips, so it looks fairly natural, and because of that it wears off very gracefully. I like to buy it on Amazon because I feel like it goes on sale more often than other beauty stores. But I definitely recommend the product. It looks really nice with a gloss also to add that moisture boost. Originally, I just got a couple travel sizes back in October but im already through that tube. So anytime this goes on sale, I’m gonna buy it. If you can get a full tube for $15 or less, it’s definitely worth a try. This packaging is also kind of underrated because it’s great. It fits in the purse well and I don’t have to worry about the top flying off. I feel like it protects the product really well too. Super easy to use.

I finally get the hype! This is the perfect "your lips but better" product.It looks so dark in the tube, but it goes on as a sheer wash of color that's just a beautiful, universally flattering berry.It's so moisturizing and easy to apply that I don't even need a mirror. It's also not a long wear lipstick, but it's perfect for a quick swipe before I head out the door. FYI, it doesn't have a scent.

No matter what anybody says, this is a wonderful lipstick for anybody. I’m totally impressed and I’m so glad I ordered it. It works with anything you put on. It goes on very good and of all the lipsticks I have ordered., and I am a lipstick freak, this one does not cake on my lips and get all crumbly and dry looking. It is just great as soon as I can. I’m going to order another one to keep in my purse and I’m going to get rid of everything else I have. It is the best buy it. You won’t regret it. It’s not too dark. It’s not too light. It’s just perfect. And it is not sticky. It goes on smooth and feel smooth and it’s easy to reapply without looking in the mirror.

I have an allergic reaction in this photo but in spite any picture I take does not do this product justice. I put it on just to help my lips moisturize. It’s so natural that it can be worn by itself or a full makeup look. I absolutely love it. It has a great shine and last a very long time. It is not sticky and is very moisturizing. There is no taste. If anything the taste reminds me of chapstick which is fantastic!

I agree with other reviews, the black honey color is lovely and versatile. I'm fair skinned, blue eyes, and would have never chosen this color if not for the reviews. It's fairly sheer, but you can build up the color if you want a darker look, which I would do for evening. I got it on sale, it was well worth the price.

I like this lipstick just to add a temporary color to my lips but I removed a star as it does not stay. It turns a beautiful color that it matches my face and skin, it has no taste, and overall it looks great! The only thing that I am not a big fan of is that it does not stay for long. If I eat or drink the lipstick is all gone and I have to re-apply multiple times.
