This works just as advertised and was super day to set up. Plug it in, pair to the car, pair to phone and phone calls and music, podcasts, anything recorded, plays through the car speakers. Sound is great and can be controlled with phone volume and/or with car volume controls.

Easy to install, the sound is quality, the only negative comment is having to turn the music on, every time, it will not come on automatically.

For whatever reason, my 2015 vehicle didn't come standard with Bluetooth, but this was a great solution, without a lot of messy cables all over the place. I got it working in a few seconds. The only odd thing is that the usb plug for other devices only works if Bluetooth isn't enabled on the charger - which was resolved by using the cigarette lighter converter. Otherwise, it's a perfect solution for my car.

I bought this Bluetooth kit to replace my old one that finally stopped working after years of reliable use. This new unit performs well overall — pairing was quick and easy, and the audio quality is solid. I’m deducting one star because the connection occasionally cuts out, which wasn’t an issue with my previous one although they look almost identical.

I ordered this product after purchasing a 2012 MCS a couple of months ago. I wanted the ability to connect my iPhone 7 to my car via bluetooth and still have the ability to play music from my phone as well. The MCS has the functionality to connect to the iPhone via bluetooth but only for calls. After receiving the product I quickly found out this product was less than stellar in its performance. The audio quality was sub-par when it was working which was hit or miss (right out of the box). If you are looking for a replacement to the "Y" cable for your European vehicle I would recommend buying the OEM product. I found out the hard way that even though this product was more economical it severely lacked in functionality and in no way replaces the OEM "Y-Cable".

I have a 2015 mini countryman and to listen to audio on my phone I had to plug it in each time and the quality was subpar. I then regretted not buying the stock entertainment center but luckily I found this item. It is amazing. If the audio is playing on the phone, it automatically plays once the engine starts, but normally it isn’t so you simply have to just press play on the phone. Make sure the light is blue and not red. If it’s red, press the button

This worked well in my 2014 BMW 328i. In case anyone needs the instructions, here’s what was provided.

Connects great for music, but I cannot get it to connect during a phone call is very difficult. It connected initially and sounded great in phone calls, but I have not been able to get it to connect since. Perhaps it is a setting on the phone or car, so I will keep trying.

This connects into the aux and USB ports in my BMW, then I connect to it via Bluetooth. Sound quality is good as long as you select aux on the idrive. You can’t control the music from any of the car controls but that’s okay for me. It streams my iTunes library and anything else from my phone, so happy with that.

If you are looking for sound quality this is not the right Bluetooth transmitter for you. Sound comes out good but as soon you turn the volume up on you radio or phone, the sounds comes out distorted.

No instructions given and it doesn't work with my mini cooper 2007. Waste of time and money.
