Reliable and Clean
You get consistent performance. The fluid pours smooth and stays clear. My brakes felt firm right after the change. No foaming. No weird smell. The bottle seals tight so you do not waste any. Good pick if you want something simple and dependable. Shipping was super quick

Extra work, but absolute best brake fluid- for your vintage car
You need this for vehicles that sit a lot. If you have a classic car; or any vehicle that has hydraulic brakes and sits in storage for extended periods; this is for you. Be forewarned- you must remove ALL the glycol-based brake fluid from your brake system before installing this fluid. It's advisable to replace as many parts as you can. Further, it is thin and oily and will invade EVERY surface it touches. That said, you can't tell the difference between this and your old glycol fluid- except your brakes will never corrode because this fluid resists water rather than absorbing it! It's also has a high boiling point, so heat-related brake fade is less of a problem. This stuff requires an investment of elbow grease, but for certain vehicles, it's a must-have. Due to a comment received from JHP, I think it's necessary to add a few further remarks to my review. I was unaware that silicone brake fluid is a no-no in ABS systems. However, with all due respect, the vast majority of vehicles that use ABS will be run out to the end of their service lives and junked. Further, long-term absorption of water into highly hydroscopic glycol fluid is not an issue if your ABS brakes receive depressurization and air-bleeding at normal intervals. Just swap out the old fluid while you're in there working. My review deals with silicone brake fluid in "vintage" or "classic" applications where the car may sit for extended periods. I hope this clarifies my review. I'm VERY SATISFIED with the performance of this brake fluid in my 1961 Studebaker Lark!

Great value!
DOT-5 silicone brake fluid. Worked perfect for my hydraulic clutch on a 1987 Mazda B2000 pickup. Be sure to purge the lines before using.

Perfect for a 2006 H/D sportster.
Good choice for DOT 5, (not DOT 5.1) silicone based brake fluid. Color Purple.
