Mounted it in a 10 year old Dell pc. Worked fine until uSoft retired XP. Then I retired the Dell.

I took care to match the brand and model number exactly to the fan that ran in my Dimension desktop for nearly 8 years. There may not be many of these still running out there, but if you're looking for a replacement part something else would be a better fit. The company has shortened the power cable so that it is not long enough to reach from the case to the jack on the motherboard. It is also significantly noisier than the old fan. I'm not sure why either of these things are true, so I can't recommend it for a newer system either. I only give it two stars because it does run. I'm a displeased customer, and will probably not buy this brand again.

Fan too noisy to use, even though it's the same part # as my original fan. Also, I get a fan failure message every time I boot. Have it 1 star because it does move air

The fan was OK, but the cable did not reach the motherboard connector. I had to splice all three wires using the cable from the old fan. Otherwise fan is working fine.

This product was exactly what I needed to get my desktop up and running. Will order again from this company.
