These were a hit! Very nice! My step son loved them.

I purchased two pair of these earrings - one with a clear center stone (which I gave as a gift), the other in yellow (which I kept). I am VERY pleased with both pair; they are a nice size with a LOT of sparkle, but not so much as to make them seem fake. the setting I chose was the white gold PLATED; it looks very nice, and has yet to fade, peel, or chip. I don't wear them everyday, but I have worn them quite a few times, and have not had ANY problems with them turning dull, nor has sensitivity been an issue. the posts are of a generous length, which is nice for someone like me who has hypertrophic scars around their piercings. the back of the setting is very nice; a very pretty open lattice or flower pattern which allows light to shine through the earrings, making them more reflective and sparkly. the yellow center stone is a TRUE yellow, as the picture shows - a "lemony, sunshine" yellow. if you were looking for something more honey or amber colored, these are not the ones for you. the clear center stone is perfectly clear; no greyness or "frosted" appearance that is characteristic of low-quality CZs. both are faceted in such a way that they catch the light without being too ambitious or flashy, even in low light, and they pass my "fluorescent light test" - most low-quality CZs have a tendency to "wash out" in fluorescent lighting and lose ALL semblance of sparkle, but these do not; the clear sparkled more than the yellow, but both still look nice. I also like the fact that these come with TWO pair or earring backs - one butterfly, one bullet - which is VERY nice if you should happen to lose one. they were also presented in a nice, black "velvet" box; VERY nice for gift-giving, and a welcome change from the usual paper box with a cheap little ribbon, (or even worse, a plastic baggie) in which most earrings at this price point are presented. my ONLY cons are the fact that the posts are not centered on these earrings; they are positioned on the top corner, which means they have to be worn in a "diamond" configuration (the "points" going up and down), rather than a square - admittedly, a minor detail. second, the supplied butterfly backs are VERY small; something you'd expect to see on a child's earrings. I switched them out with larger ones that I bought separately in bulk (I lose earring backs ALL the time!), and they worked out fine. overall, these are very nice earrings, considering the price. the fact that they are available in multiple colors makes it nice for those looking to match their earrings to a certain outfit (IF ONLY PURPLE OR AMETHYST WERE AN AVAILABLE OPTION...). though they are costume, they are nicely appointed so as to give a more genuine appearance. I highly recommend these earrings, and am going to purchase another pair of the clear for myself!
