High quality modell kit of the german WWII dive bomber the Junkers Ju87 the famous Stuka "Sturzkampfbomber". A very good detailed modell kit in all like cockpit and surface. With various opportunities to build like opened or closed canopy and motor covers, landing flaps and elevators in different positions, opened or closed gun bays ... a fun to build but in my opinion not a kit for beginners.

Cant wait to put it together

I bought this Airfix ME109E to complement a Tamiya Spitfire MkI. After building Airfix's P-40B, I assumed it would be of the same caliber (excellent). Admittedly, it's different. At first inspection, I was slightly disappointed in the comparison. The plastic is softer, the sprue attachment points are thicker, and there is considerably more flash. However, as the build progressed, I came to appreciate the results. It really builds into a beautiful representation with superb detail throughout. I especially commend Airfix for their smart bottom cowling that eliminates dealing with an ugly seam and an upper cowling that allows you to place the guns in separately giving it a realistic appearance. (Other companies should take note.) I didn't display the engine which is simplistic. There are numerous parts for building other E variants (including the tropical E-7) if you want to buy aftermarket decals. The three schemes included are interesting and include a Yugoslavian/Serb/or Croatian variant. (I'll admit I didn't research which, since I was interested in a Battle of Britain veteran.) The decals performed excellently. I had heard criticisms that they were too thick. However, Airfix must have taken note. Mine conformed well to all the panel lines with some Solvaset. There is an abundance of stencil markings. In European custom, swastikas are not included. That is the only drawback in accuracy. It is an excellent model for a reasonable price. I would be happy to build it again and highly recommend it.

A nicely detailed kit, challenging for less experienced modelers. No flash, molding is crisp, typical for recent Airfix kits. Airfix kits have a good semi-matte texture that makes painting easier. I am pleased with this kit. Edit to add.... The title is wrong, this is NOT a "quick build" kit. Also the all black scheme shown in the pics is NOT provided for in this kit. This is my second order for this kit, which will be finished in the Jugoslav scheme.

Parts mate well, you can build different versions and the price is right.

All parts fit good and no flash at all,

Model is great value for the money, but there aren’t a lot of parts. The detail is lacking, but the model looks good.

Good product at good price but delivery was late.

主役が撃墜されてるボックスアートで有名なこの商品。中身は、エアフィックス品質です。 個人的な印象では、後部胴体下面のクビれが少ない気がしますが、必要であれば削れば良い！ ただ、商品画像にある、第1夜間戦闘航空団の「G9+JV」のデカールは含まれてません。コレが欲しくて買ったので、品質自体には満足ですが、☆は2つ減点です。 …まァ店頭で箱の側面を見ればわかった事なンですが…。。。
