12 Pack DC Motor 1.5-3V 15000RPM Mini Electric Hobby Motor for DIY Toys Science Projects

A good entry for me anyway as I knew nothing about them. I've run 4 of the 12 and they all run. They are smooth and start up fast with bare shafts but start slowly and run rough with some 2-inch diameter 3D printed wheels with 1/4 inch thick O-ring tires (which are probably out of balance and out of round). For the price, I'm very happy but will use these for lighter duty in the future. There are much more expensive motors out there for Nerf guns, etc. and they would certainly be interesting.

All of the motors I have installed work great. I replaced motors in several Gearation boards. My son was thrilled to have his favorite toys functional again. The motors fit perfect, work great, and were easy to install..

They worked for the Art Bot Science Project that my daughter needed. One of them got hot but still performed okay

I used it for STEM project. We made cars with plastic bottles and used the motors with Propellers. The children love them!

I bought these little motors for a project. Before I got to the project, my daughter had a toy that broke. She left the toy on, the batteries ran out, and the electric motor got hot and seized. These motors were the right voltage and the right fit. So, I put one in to replace it. At first, it worked great. I headed off to work to later find out from my wife, the toy lasted about 5 minutes and quit. A thorough inspection of the toy revealed some poor wiring and a poor switch, all of which were showing heat damage from 2 aa batteries. Typical Chinese Junk. Fine... I completely rewired the toy, replaced the switch, all with overkill grade stuff. This thing should be able to handle 12 volts and a few amps... let alone 2 aa batteries. I noticed my first motor also seemed very weak. So I replaced it with another from the same pack. I was home to watch her play. I could literally watch the toy die out slowly as if the batteries were slowly going dead. It literally lasted less than 3 minutes. Checked everything over, batteries fine, wiring, switch, all good. Motor: shot. Whatever... let's try a third motor. Yep, same sh!!. a whole pack of junk.

Work very well for science project

Well made motors but not much torque. Ran freely but then struggled with turning wheels on a toy cart with fresh 9v battery.

Estos motores fueron comprados para reemplazar los motores de unos juguetes. La verdad es que ahora los juguetes funciona mejor y es mucho mas barato reemplazar los motores que reemplazar un juguete caro. Definitivamente valio la pena esta compra.
