I have hung onto a Welch Allen otoscope for years even though the battery had worn out. I had the set before Amazon and the internet existed and couldn’t find replacement batteries (early 80s). I was deep cleaning and found the old set and checked to see if I could find a battery on Amazon. Took a chance and ordered these. They fit and work perfectly. I now have a working set. I am amazed.

Seems to be a good much cheaper replacement for Welch Allyn battery. only had it for a week but charge is holding well.

Exactly as stated! Replaced battery in old Welch Allyn rechargeable otoscope! Charged just as old batteries did.

This is my second time buying these batteries. I read for the brand batteries to charge it full, let then it completely discharge, charge it full again, and let it completely discharge, recharge for a 3rd time then it is ready to use. Something about memory in the battery so I followed the same advice for this off brand. I can't say how long they last, but I had the previous ones for a couple of years with regular use.

After literally decades of non-use, I tried to use my Welch-Allyn oto-/ophthalmoscope, but found it couldn't be charged. Turns out the old battery leaked. After cleaning up the corrosion, I thought to try to revive this instrument by trying these batteries. They fit and it works again... 40 years later!

Working great so far in my Welch Allyn ophthalmic handpieces for retinoscope and muscle light.

fits in ophthalmoscope too tightly, and cannot get it out

did not fit on mine. need to return it.
