How this can be marketed as green tea matcha when the main ingredient (!) is the cheapest, vile tasting vanilla powder is beyond me. I had hoped for a green tea matcha with notes of vanilla, at best this can be described as artificial tasting vanilla water which looks like a clay mud puddle and neither tastes nor looks anything like matcha. Just disgusting and certainly won't be buying again. EDIT: updated from 1 star to 3 stars. Following my review VAHDAM customer service reached out to me. While I do still not like this particular product, I have to say that their customer service is absolutely outstanding and truly remarkable, the best I have experienced in a long time so I wanted to reflect this in my review as well. On a side note, VAHDAM also offer other flavor matcha teas and I am pleased to recommend their turmeric matcha which is definitely a closer match to the genuine matcha flavor.

The flavour is authentic to true Japanese matcha powder that I have had before. With the addition of vanilla, it created a unique one-of-a-kind drink. For the price charged, I would hope to have a slightly larger packet as I am a true lover of matcha and would go through this packet way too quickly. I have made this as a hot drink but also in the summer, have made a frappacino and it does justice beautifully. Highly recommended this company for this matcha powder. Would pace between purchases as I think the price is rather on the higher range. Nevertheless, worth the try anyway! Thank you.

It's not clear from the labelling that there is more vanilla than matcha in this and it really does give a different taste altogether! I feel this brand has jumped on the matcha bandwagon with an inferior product. This company subsequently reached out and offered me a full refund, unprompted. Can't fault them for customer service!

This is me talking to all the true matcha fans (that like/love the unique flavour and healthy dose): this products is wonderful. Vanilla and matcha are delicious together. This product is approx 52% vanilla which is a bit high. Since I want more matcha I make my oat match with 2/3 ceremonial matcha and 1/3 of this and it makes the most amazing drink! This should have a highly rating. It smells amazing.

Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen habe ich mir diesen Matcha gekauft. Er schmeckt wirklich gut. Der Vanille Geschmack kommt richtig gut raus. Ich mache mir da einfach einen Teelöffel in die Tasse, umrühren.Dann kommt heißes Wasser drauf. Im Anschluss kommt heiße Milch oder ein Pflanzendrink aufgeschäumt dazu. Richtig geil noch dazu Mangomark oder Erdbeermus. Das schmeckt einfach wunderbar.
