Perfect for Flat Ethernet / Cat 5e / Cat 6 Cables
These cable clips are specifically designed to accommodate the newer flat style of"Cat 5e" or "Cat 6" ethernet cables. While most ethernet cables are still round and thick,many newer devices, such as my wireless router, use the thin and flat style of ethernet cablewhich is often of a "Cat 5e" or "Cat 6" variety. These clips have just the right size and shapeof interior clip area to fit these flat ribbon style cables... allowing them to slide aroundjust a little bit so they do not get crimped or damaged, but keeping them neat and organized.The adhesive appears to hold well on my drywall, keeping my cables flat and straight.

[UPDATED DEC. '18] Yellow not white
What I received could not be described as white. More of a translucent/yellowish color. Not a good match with a white (actually white) wire.[UPDATE] After overcoming my initial reaction, still needing a solution. I gave these a try. Look much better on the wall/ceiling than in the bag. Goes well with white or color wires. Satisfied with my purchase and picking up another bag. Good stuff.

Perfect Solution for My Problem
Just what I needed. Needed something to hold up the wires to the electric mattress pad which run under the bed and make vacuuming there difficult. The wires are the flat kind and most clips I found were for round cords like USB etc. so I ordered these hoping they would work. Lucked out! They are the perfect size and shape. Can't wait to tackle other cord problems around the house.

Yellow, not white.
Ordered based off product photos at top. Needed a clean solution for flat Ethernet cable along white floorboard. Came very ellow, not white. Shame on me since I should have checked out the review photos. Since it is not eligible for return, I need to paint them white.

Did the trick
I needed these to run a long flat ethernet cable so my computer would be hard wired and no one would trip over the cable, these worked perfectly.

Perfect For “Flat”Wires
Absolutely perfect for what I needed it to do the only thing is the glue that is behind the clips is not strong enough so I had to Krazy glue them but that was OK for what I need to do with it.

Glue doesn’t hold.
The 3m adhesives will not hold. Tried using these for under cabinet lighting wires, which don’t hold virtually any weight, and the adhesive gave after just a day. I prepped the surface with alcohol first. I plan to remove the adhesive part and stick my own Gorilla glue adhesive strips to the clips so that they will actually hold on.
