Works great. Used it on our cruise. It went on when someone got up, but wasn't too bright to wake the other person. Just bright enough to find our way, though. I love the magnetic base too - it allows you to aim the light where you want and gives the flexibility to sit on a table or stick to a magnetic surface/wall.

Good quality, value for money, easy to set up/install, bright, and sensitive to motion in the dark when you need it.

Worked perfect on our cruise! Stuck it on the wall by the bathroom to help with middle of the night trips to the bathroom! Bright enough to see and not trip, but didn’t disturb the rest of the room! One set of batteries worked for our entire 10 day cruise!

I purchased based on other reviews and recommendations. So glad I did. Took it on a cruise. Placed it on the ceiling of the bathroom and it turned on with the slighted movement including the door opening. Only thing I would say is that it does not stay on long. So, if you are sitting in the bathroom doing your business, it may shut off, so wave your hands and it's back on again. The brightness was perfect for middle-of-the-ngiht but not super bright. If you needed it for a closet area to find anything, then you will be disappointed. Few things to keep in mind, it works great on the ceiling, but if placed on a wall, it may slide. Also, there is no off button. So, when you pack it away for travel, I actually used blue painters tape to hold one battery outside it so it was easy to plug in upon arrival and the batteries wouldn't die in transit.

Easy to use. Easy to clean. Works well. Strong magnets, stays in place does not fall off. Motion detection works well. Perfect size. Durable. Loved it.

I bought this for an upcoming Cruise (Sept). Received today and tried it using magnet base on stove and worked perfectly and held position. Also tried sitting on counter top in bathroom and works great also as can swivel it in any position needed (same as using magnet base). Put on Auto and waited for light to go out (a few seconds) and motion sensor works great. Slight movement turned on and LED is just bright enough to see what is needed (toilet & area around) & light up the area but not so bright to hurt a sleeping pair of eyes. I think this would be perfect for hallways, bathroom or any area where some light is needed whether in hotel, cruise stateroom or even home. Fits in the palm of my hand and light and base separates if needed for smaller packing needs. I don't think you could go wrong purchasing this light. Perfect addition to my traveling/packing needs. Does have an Auto and an On button, so can leave on continuously or use Auto for motion Sensor. Again, I haven't used yet for my cruise so can't say if it will hold on Magnetic walls of stateroom, but regardless I can use on counter top, floor or anything with a flat surface. This is especially useful for travel when the bathroom light switch is on the outside of the bathroom! So annoying that you have to wake your roomie up when you turn the bathroom lights on in the middle of the night. The motion sensor works very well. It gives a soft light so it doesn't completely wake you up but gives enough light to see the room. It should work well for other uses also. It is also removable from the base and can be positioned in a number of different ways. LOVE IT!!

I really want to like this light, and the illumination itself is excellent. Unfortunately, the built-in magnet isn’t strong enough to hold the light on a wall once the batteries are installed. It stays in place when empty, but loses its grip under normal use, which feels like a significant design flaw. As a result, I can only use it on a table. A stronger magnet would make this product far more practical and versatile.

Very useful for travelling! Light and easy to pack. In addition, it gives off enough light to let you move around but not so much that it is glaring.

very poor quality. Very thin plastic construction, with new batteries the light is not at all bright. It has little use being incapable of wall mounting. The light unit sits in a bowl and kept in position by a magnet, already the magnet is not sufficiently strong to maintain the light unit when mounted on a wall. No wonder it has been significantly reduced in price
