After Superman is put to rest, following his battle with Doomsday, his body is stolen from its tomb. As authorities investigate, new and completely different Supermen start appearing on the scene, making everyone wonder if Superman has been reincarnated, and if so, which of the new Supermen is the real Man-of-Steel? Review: Reign of the 5 star - So this is review of the movie, not the seller or someone complaining about no digital download and giving it one star without having even seen the film. So the movie is spot on great from every angle. Voice acting is great, sound quality what you would expect and the animation an style I just find superb. The story is great an even though I read the source material when I was a kid when it was released I didn't remember everything so it kept me guessing. It wrapped up in a nicely at the end and I really enjoyed the different variations of "Superman" always have been a big Steel fan but found myself enjoying Eradicator the most overall. Do not regret pre ordering the movie and would do again Review: Better Than the First Part - The first part of the movie is like a click flick. I like this second part better. I am sure you have seen all the other Doomsday movies from before. There is not much difference. Doomsday shows up and beats up Superman. The disc comes with many extra, and couple episodes from Superman The Animated Series. I don't like the animation or the character design. Wonder Woman looks very bad to me. The characters are drawn without any emotion. I like the old-school animation better. This is not a bad buy. 5 stars.

A different take, but enjoyable even for purists
Yep, I'll admit that I'm one of "those" types. You know the ones. "Why did they have to change <fill in blank>?" Still, I've come to accept the changes that are made to original material as it is adapted to the large and small screens, so I try to view the work on its own merits, as well as how it reflects the source material. Following on the satisfactory, if not spectacular Death of Superman adaptation (worlds better than the regrettable Superman/Doomsday), I was interested enough to see how this film turned out to buy it early, before discounts hit. Bottom line, it was pretty good. Flaws, of course, but overall, a nice story. It was almost a homage to the original material than an adaptation, because so many things were changed. I don't like to "spoil" films, so I won't talk about key plot shifts, but here are some interesting points: - A lot more participation from the Justice League. Surprising, but not unwelcome. - A major shift of the Cyborg Superman origin. Since I never really cared for the guy in the first place, no loss here. - The Lois/Clark relationship is quite a bit different (see below). - Luthor represents the evil genius businessman better than in any feature films ever made. Ever. - Versions of 3 of the 4 Supermen are great. Cyborg (as mentioned), totally different, so, hmm. It does have some drawbacks, though: - The Lois/Clark relationship does not reflect the engagement from the original material. I think this weakens the emotional devastation Lois went through significantly (and thus, missing in this film). - There is a major change in the driver of Cyborg Superman (sorry, no spoiler). It's not a bad change, but it ultimately becomes under utilized. - The Eradicator, a major player in the original plot, is similarly minimized in this adaptation. Eh, not so happy about that. Taken all in all, this is a pretty fun film with a fresh view of the source material. I don't agree with all the choices, but even a purist like me can enjoy the film for what it is.

Reign of the Supermen
I bought this movie for myself. This is the second movie that continues the story after DCU The Death of Superman. This movie tells the tale of the 4 Supermen who appeared after Superman dies in the previous movie.

Just like in the comics but INTENSELY BETTER!
THIS movie is just like a roller coaster of SHEER COMIC BOOK AWESOMENESS and part two of this saga does NOT DISAPPOINT and neither does the other comic book animation adaptations that DC COMICS continues to crank out!
