It works follow the directions on the bottle
I was skeptical since fish lice (argulus?) are so resistant to medicated treatments, but after 4 treatments, following directions exactly on the bottle, I have not seen anymore lice on my orandas. Everyone did well during and after the treatments, and my pond plants and bog filter plants are doing well as well as the snails so it appears to be mostly safe for those. Didn’t seem to negatively affect the clarity of the pond water or filter functions. Hope never to have to use it again but glad to know it works if I do!

Helped to Kill Anchor worm quickly
I ordered this medication to help kill anchor worm and it exceeded my expectations. It killed the parasite faster than I expected. As others have said, the results came as early as one week. I no longer saw my betta itch. It helped him immensely, as he was extremely miserable. The problem started when I had accidentally introduced new plants that I had ordered online and did not quarantine them. Five to six days after I had placed them in my aquarium, I noticed my betta looked very irritated and was scratching his body on rocks and anything sharp in the aquarium. At first I did not know what the problem was, until I saw very small parasites hanging off the side of his skin. So that is when I did my research and found out what this parasite was. It’s not a true worm but a crustacean that sucks the blood of your fish. I was desperate to help get rid of it. Since my aquarium is heavily planted, I could not use salt. I was forced to use another solution and that is when I found this product. I bought it based on the positive reviews and I wasn’t sure if it would work as quickly as it did. To my surprise, my betta stopped itching against objects the first week I started the dose. As the bottle states, you must use at least three consecutive doses at one dose per week. I’ve already finished with each of the doses and I see no signs of anchor worm. My betta is back to his healthy self again and he’s happy and so am I! I highly recommend this medication for anyone who wants to kill anchor worm super fast!

it works! slow and steady wins the race!!!!!!
After first 4 days saw visible worms dying (still attached- they were flaccid and changing color) Prior to purchase, I had read all the reviews-the science paper on the mechanism of handling Lice/Anchor Worms, and I recalled one person who thought it didnt work till he pulled the worm off the fish. So, i grabbed the biggest fish (mine are small) and tweezed it off--sure enough it was dead-slippery goo!! YIPPPEEEEE The others are way too small to tweeze off, so I will run full course and hope the dead bodies just drop off cuz they are unsightly. *Note for the angry fellow submerging lice in this solution--stating it doesnt work--the bottle CLEARLY states its not a poison per say, but kills them through drying out the crustacean skin over time--(osmosis of drying agents soaking crustaceans0 -It is odd some people dont read the instructions and just do things and complain about the product due to their lack of data! Added bonus---its handling my mystery snail explosion and I am so happy!! Those things reproduce like 30 rabbits all at once!!!

Same active ingredients as other brands
This product contains Cyromazine, and insecticide/anti parasitic chemical (same active ingredient as products like cyropro from hikari.) You need to understand how to use Cyromazine correctly (and it’s limitations) to get good results. Cyromazine does not attack all parasites at all life stages. It will not kill everything in one go. You will need multiple treatments to kill an infestation of say, anchor worms. There are other chemicals will similar purposes and somewhat similar mechanisms of action (such as diflubenzuron, sold under the name dimillin x for aquarium use.) Anyways, I was very happy to find this version of Cyromazine for around 10 dollars and next day shipping. I needed a product quickly and none of the pet stores around me carried it. Many of the other products I found online had shipping that would have easily been a week or more. So again, the availability, shipping speed, and the price point were wonderful.

It works
Well it came in a completely different bottle but the name was the same. The anchor worms died but they didn’t fall out so it gave me the illusion they were still there so I was getting really frustrated. I used a bit more than the recommended and it didn’t hurt them a bit. I took one of my fish out and with some tweezers gently pulled on the worms, they were like jelly and just slid on out, proving that they were dead. I just didn’t want the dead ones all over my tank so I took all of them out. They we’re definitely dead.. just hanging on and looking like they weren’t.

Products from this company are injurious and distressing to fish...
Used as part of quarantine for new fish before introducing them into my main tank. They had a week of Melafix and Pimafix, API General Cure and then 50% water change. The fish were doing well. I planned to give them a dose of this product once a week for 3 weeks after PWC as directed; however, 24 hours after the first dose the surface of the water was still foamy, and the fish looked distressed. I performed another PWC (25%) and they immediately looked relieved, stopped clamping their fins and began moving around freely again. This is the second bad experience I have had with Microbe-Lift products. I had two healthy sucker fish die after being correctly dosed with Herbtana. I will not buy any product from this company again. I'm pouring these products out. A tremendous waste of money.
