Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wanted twinkle lights with soft (candle light) look. Also they were long enough

Well packaged. Great quality. I had purchased a shorter LED light set previously and it has lasted years. This one is longer and it is the same quality. Great lights. Perfect to add warmth and ambiance to my rooms without wasting energy (LED lighting is lower energy use).

Love these lights. strung them back and forth 3 times on back porch and it looks lovely.

The media could not be loaded. I have purchased more than a lifetimes worth of LED string lights and in the end, have always returned them. To me, there is just no LED comparison to the cozy, romantic glow of your traditional incandescent bulb.However, my family’s push to be a little more conservative with electrical use has put me on the never ending search for a “greener” setup above my computer. For almost two years (That’s when my final strand of traditional string lights died) I have lived with a dull office. I couldn’t stand the sterilized bright white color of the newest LED string lights, and if that wasn't the problem, then there was this constant flicker that would, for some reason, trigger my migraines.Time after time I was tempted by the cheaper price of traditional string lights, but was determined to be more responsible. After getting the urge once more, I came to Amazon and continued my search for the impossible. The perfect, warm white, LED string light.I came across these and noted that I hadn’t ordered them before. They came with your typical yellow edited image that all the others have, to hide the fact they’re actually soft white. I was skeptical, as always, but purchased the 200 count LED strand anyway.They arrived in great condition, neatly wrapped and organized. They had quite a bit of heft to them which was impressive. I took them to my dark bedroom to plug them in, having every intention of being disappointed then having to make a return trip to the post office the next day. Into the outlet they went and when the lights turned on, I was left speechless.I had to do a double, no! triple take. They were absolutely beautiful. I then began to search high and low for a flicker. There was none to be seen. I almost let out tears of joy (and I mean that). I couldn’t believe it. Finally, after two years, I found the closest and most ideal replacement for my warm white incandescent string lights.Now, they obviously don’t have that deep glow of a hot, amber colored filament, but the color they cast is warm, soft, and romantic. It appears that the color is from the actual diode it self, as the cover, or cap, on them is clear and not colored to appear yellowed. Shown in the photos I posted.It has several features such as a twinkle, slo-glo, combination, and waves. Just to name a few. Each one, beautiful and work as described. There is even a convenient label on the actual power box that tells you which functions there are, also photographed.I included a video of what I believe to be the “Twinkle” mode.The connectors allow for multiple strands to be joined and are incredibly user friendly as well as functional. It has a threaded sleeve that prevents the connector from being yanked out which is also labeled according to the polarity (+ or -) for which direction it is to be plugged in, also shown with pictures.I’m not an expert on lights, but the LED’s included in these look different from most others I’ve used, where as they have a much longer sleeve or shaft that connects the diode to the wire, as shown.The lights are sturdy and feel very well made. They are surprisingly heavy and each one lit up perfectly. There is an excess remainder of wire that contains no diodes that allows you to hang or run them fairly far away from a power source, although this would probably be a minor hindrance if you were planing to combine several strands as you’d be left with a long portion of unlit wire to try and hide. This worked to my advantage, however.I will 100%, no doubt, be reordering these. Please, for the love of everything do not change anything about these strand lights. I was blown away, by not only the color, but the actual quality that are in these lights. Truly, one of my best purchases from Amazon.

Perfect

After spending my time hunting down which lights I would like and measuring how many feet I would need, I decided to go with the twinkle star lights because it seemed like the perfect compromise between price and quality.I ordered three sets of 83 ft lights thinking I would get a total of 249 ft of lights.... Enough for what I wanted to do.I opened all three boxes, and the quality seemed better than what was advertised. Every bulb worked, I could connect the strands with ease, there was plenty of " excess" cord between the wall plug and the first light on the strand, they looked completely weather proof, and I could disconnect the wall plug from the strands I wanted to connect together easily.I was completely satisfied, and thought I found a better deal than I was expecting. I put up the three strands of lights, and it was much shorter than I thought it was going to be.I thought I did something wrong. I took down the lights and re-ran them tighter but still ended up quite short. I ordered three more boxes to have plenty of excess for future years of Christmas lights because I was so happy with the product.WHEN THE NEXT ORDER ARRIVED, I REALIZED THAT I HAD RECEIVED ALL 6 TOTAL BOXES AT 66 ft IN LENGTH INSTEAD OF 83 ft.The lights are great, but if I knew that they were only 66 ft I probably wouldn't have ordered them for the price that I paid. I will update my review if I receive two more strands to compensate for the additional 102 feet of lights that I paid for.DO NOT BE TRICKED BY THE FALSE ADVERTISING. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE 83 ft AS EXPECTED. This is the first time that I have not been able to trust a product description on Amazon. I sincerely hope that they make this right.Update: Despite the inaccurate feet of lights listed, I do really like these lights. I've had them two years and they have withstood the rain flawlessly. The seller did send me more lights. They connect to each other easily and the excess cord is detachable and comes in very handy when running the lights to the outlet or across open areas. I only wish they would advertise clearly that you would only get 66ft of lights. With the quality of the product, I have changed my mind and I would recommend them for this price.

This package of lights was perfect for an 8’ pencil tree. The color is a true warm white without being yellow. I like that they don’t have an automatic timer as I like to keep my tree lit most all of the time. I initially thought a remote was included but after rereading the instructions I discovered that the button to change the effects is located on the plug, which is also preferable to me because honestly I have enough remotes to keep track of the way it is ha ha. This is a really long string of lights to work with, and I did have them tangle on me a couple of times. However, the wire is more “slippery” than the usual green ones so I was able to get it separated without too much trouble. It remains to be seen how long they last, but I’m hopeful they will last awhile like other LED strands I have. I’m finally over replacing regular lights after they burn out after one season. These have the same glow as regular lights without looking too cool toned or fluorescent. I’m very satisfied so far!
