Love to draw so this is excellent for me. I can’t do as much as I like but that is no reflection of the product.

Good Quality
Really good sketchbook, I usually do pencil drawings and the paper is perfect for sketching and erasing alike. Decent price for what you receive, plenty of pages, easy to keep open, love the hard cover. 10/10, if I were to buy another sketchbook, there is a high chance it would be this one.

A Perfect Companion for Artists: Quality, Size, and Style All in One
I have been an avid artist for many years and have tried countless sketchbooks throughout my journey, but this Premium Black Sketchbook has completely won me over. The quality of this product is evident from the moment you hold it. It has a sturdy, high-quality hardcover that provides excellent support, whether you're sketching in a studio or in the middle of nature. The black cover adds a stylish, professional touch that I've received many compliments on.Now, let's talk about size. At 8-1/2 inch x 11 inch, it's the perfect size for me. It's large enough to allow for detailed work but compact enough to carry in my bag without any hassle. This sketchbook has truly become my constant companion, accompanying me wherever my artistic journey leads. As for the paper quality, it's wonderful. It has just the right weight and texture to it, accommodating a wide range of mediums. From graphite pencils to charcoal, from pastels to ink, every stroke and line appears clear and vivid. There's no bleed-through or smudging, ensuring your creations stay clean and crisp. The micro-perforated pages are a fantastic feature. It allows for easy removal of pages when I want to share or frame my artwork, all without damaging the rest of the sketchbook. This thoughtful feature reflects the overall attention to detail put into the design of this product. One more thing I appreciate is the binding. It's firm yet flexible, allowing the sketchbook to lay flat when opened. This provides a comfortable drawing surface and makes it easier to utilize the entire page.In conclusion, this Premium Black Sketchbook stands out from its peers, offering superior quality and user-friendly features. It's the kind of product that respects and facilitates an artist's process rather than obstructing it. I would highly recommend it to any artist, beginner or professional, who values quality, functionality, and style. This sketchbook is more than a collection of blank pages; it's a canvas for creativity, a silent partner in your artistic journey.

Surprisingly good for the price!
The paper inside is comparable to my Strathmore 300 series pad. I’ve cheaped out on sketchbooks before, and have been disappointed by how rough/grainy/brittle the paper can be, but the paper in this sketchbook can withstand multiple sketch redo’s and multiple light watercolor washes. It MIGHT be able to handle alcohol markers; in my experience, a Sharpie bleeds through to the back of a page. I don’t usually work with alcohol markers, but this paper behaves similarly to the paper my friends who use Copics use.Great quality binding, great quality paper for the price. I’ve yet to be disappointed by a journal or sketchbook made by the Peter Pauper Press.
