Direct Bolt on, sounds great.
This is a direct bolt on to a factory 2016JK. It sounds great but to get the most sound out of it, I put on a cold air intake that really opened up the sound quality. (RiAiCiING Cold Air Intake kit with Heat Shield Fit for 2012-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK 3.6L V6). I sprayed PB blaster on the factory exhaust bolt and around the exhaust connection and let it sit for about 30 minutes. I also sprayed WD40 in the exhaust hangers to loosen them up. The hardest part was getting the passenger side hanger disconnected so I ended up just cutting the bracket off the factory exhaust. Once both hangers were loosed and the bolt loosened from the exhaust connection, it was just a matter of wiggling the muffler left and right and few light taps with a rubber mallet to brake it free. The new exhaust bolted right up and fit great. The major problem I had was putting the tips on. The bracket where the bolt and nut are does not allow enough room to get a socket on it so I had to use an opened wrench and with tiny micro turns I was able to get them tightened on.

Glad I bought it
Honestly wasnt expecting much outa this but was thoroughly impressed by the sound. Not much drone in thr cabin at all. Sounds mean!! Instalation took around 2 hours but that's cause we didn't have the right tools to take the old muffler off but installing the new muffler took literally 20 minutes and went on super smooth. Fits perfectly! Looks mean and like it belongs on the jeep!

2014 Rubicon sounds great!
Getting the factory exhaust was the “ hardest “ part of this installation. I used some sandpaper to clean up the old exhaust to help slip the new one over. It went on without any trouble. Getting the hangers back it was a little fight but that didn’t take too long either. I a little bit of grease and that helped a lot. I didn’t put the tips on. I didn’t like the way it looked. Too big from the exhaust pipe but that’ll be your choice. I had a really annoying rattle once I started it up and found out the heat shield was vibrating really bad. I ended up just taking it off. The new exhaust is much smaller then the factory and didn’t sit anywhere close to the body of the Jeep. Sounds great for the price! Well worth the money and didn’t take much tome at all!

MUST HAVE!
All I can say is.. buy this exhaust if you have a JK/JKU! Old exhaust was a PIA to get off but this one goes on with a breeze! I paired this exhaust with a corsa cold air intake and it sounds amazing! At first I was a little disappointed because I like my cars louddd and driving wasn’t as loud as I thought.. until I opened up the back glass on my Wrangler and BAM, sounds absolutely amazingggg! Throaty deep tone, a little crackle when you get on it. Advantage is I have a 6 speed so I can make it growl as much as I want, but I have to say it has a perfect tone between 2500-3000Rpms. No droning that I’ve noticed with my hard top blocking out most of the noise. Going 60-75mph my tires hum louder. I have to say it’s the perfect exhaust if you don’t want to sound like an annoying civic hauling by! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

its not the best but not the worst
Exhaust showed up in okay packaging, the build quality is what you pay for, welds are cheap, painting is cheap. Installation was pretty easy except getting my old jeep’s exhaust off, it took a lot of wd-40 and an impact gun/rubber mallet. After installation the exhaust seems to want to loosen up, had to put tack welds in to hold it in place correctly. The sound is pretty good, a little droney with the doors off. No signs of any hp increase or torque increase after dynojet run but there was a lot crisper throttle response. At the end of the day I didn't expect anything more out of this system. Going to purchase the magna flow system and be done with it.

Great product for the money! Easy install and great growl!
So far, I'm in love! For the price and a 20 minute install, I couldn't be happier. With that being said, the inlet pipe was slightly bent to where it wouldn't fit. With a little mallet work, some elbow grease, and WD-40, I was able to get it set all the way in on the stock exhaust tubing. I'm going to put that on UPS since the box was damaged in shipping. The growl is great up to about 1400 RPM and the tones out between 1500 and 2000 RPM. No crazy hum, but a great low drone in OD. Have not tested on the interstate yet... I will check the connection for leaks after 30 days, and also test the tip fittings over the next 30.

Best bang for your buck, so far
Right out of the box, its looks very well built, but time will tell how long it will last. It was a snap to install onto the existing Jeep rubber hangers on my 2013 Wrangler; the hanging and clamping to only about 30 minutes. I would highly suggest cleaning the Jeep tailpipe with an abrasive like 100 grit sandpaper or equivalent as to make the transition slide on easier. The muffler exhaust extensions are slash cut and heavy; better than I expected. I would liked a better sound, the sound I get when revved is like that of a teenager's Honda Civic. At idle, it sounds throaty, but when at highway speeds, you have a droning sound, but what can you expect when you don't have headers. Why pay 500 bucks for any other item, when this one is the best bang for your buck? Time will only tell how long it will last, but it is heavy steel and well built, so I believe it will outlast the Catback and the Dynomax.

Sounds great! Install wasn't the smoothest, old exhaust was a little challenging to pop off. The clamp that came with it was too big. Sounds and looks good all troubles aside.
