Replaced some delicate threads in aluminium, very easy to use, threads are nice and robust and free running. Very useful tool to repair stripped threads in soft materials.

Drill bent, and the tap it absolutely useless, the threads are ground so poorly it doesn't cut a proper thread the relationship between the major and minor diameter is incorrect. Might get away with it on plastic but not a chance in aluminium or steel. So now I need to buy a separate tap. I should of know and brought something more expensive.

This is a fantastic tool really got me out of a sticky situation and save me days of work.

Ik had dit gekocht om in een ALU stuk degelijke M3 schroefdraad te krijgen. En... het werkt! Helaas komt bij dit item geen gebruiksaanwijzing. Dit had de zaak iets kunnen vereenvoudigen. Gelukkig zijn er op Youtube filmpjes die je op weg kunnen helpen.

Kit completo per la riparazione dei filetti rovinati. Funziona alla grande e mi ha risolto parecchi problemi. Peccato solo per il ridotto numero di helicoil inclusi nella confezione.

Gleich bei der ersten Schraube brach der Gewindeschneider und die Federn sind beim ansetzen schon gebrochen. Habe es zurück geschickt.

Las roscas no van mal, el resto no te da ni para un uso....
