Great!
I am currently trying to make my kids bedrooms as green as possible...I just bought organic pillows and am saving up to buy organic mattresses, but the easiest and most obvious thing was to ban fleecy, chemical laden pj's in my home. Enter cotton pj's (the ones that always come with a yellow tag and say "wear snug fitting". Just one problem....they're not nearly as warm and my children do not/cannot/will not keep covers on them for more than 5 minutes. I was cranking the heat up at night to make sure my kids were warm enough. Then someone recommended the Halo Sleep Sacks to me, and they've been a life saver for my heating bill! These things are great. Not only do they keep them warm all night....they come shuffling downstairs in the morning looking like colorful little sacks of potatoes:) Bonus that I didn't have to buy bathrobes for xmas like I was planning! I debated between the fleece and the lighter material and settled on the fleece. It's *very* warm, sometimes a little too warm, but I just unzip it a little to "vent"...I'd rather that than not have it be warm enough. I was initially wary of these because they're made of fleece...evil chemical pj's are made of fleece...and I looked around a lot online and finally found someone on some blog who had sort of found an answer...so I apologize Halo if I butcher this information: Basically, they're considered blankets, not sleepwear, so they can get away with a lower flammability requirement than pajamas which means they do not need to use flame retardant chemicals. If that's wrong, someone please correct me, but that's the most cohesive explanation I found. One more thing worth mentioning....they're huge! Not that that's necessarily a bad thing. I bought a light blue 4-5T for my 4 year old and it does fit him, but he'll easily be able to wear it until he's at least 6. I bought the dark pink 2-3T for my 22 month old...she's a bit tall for her age, but she's swimming in it. I haven't tried it yet, but I bet my 4 year old would fit into hers just fine. It works for bedtime, but she can't walk around in the morning like he can without getting all tripped up. The good news....these should last a good, long time!

LIFE SAVER
If you’re a mom of a toddler who’s too young for a blanket - this review is for you! I didn’t know something like this existed & I was still nervous to have my daughter wear it lol (she’s 21 months). Our house gets cold at night due to poor insulation. She would wear socks & fleece footie PJs & STILL wake up with cold fingers :( so I stumbled upon this! We put her in her normal fleece footie PJs & throw this wearable blanket on top & she is nice & toastie warm! I no longer wake up & worry that she’s too cold, or hear her whine because she’s too cold. It washes well, it’s super soft & runs a tad bigger which is great because for $22 bucks, you’d want a few years out of it! My daughter is 21 months, wears 3T/4T shirts & 3T pants (chunky + tall!). We ordered the 2T/3T size & it’s perfect! I’m sure she will be able to fit into this for a longggg time to come.

Comfortable and warm for winter
Got this for my 22 month old son who won’t use a blanket. Living in New England we get cool nights very quickly and needed a way to keep him warm at night. This is spot on. He loved sleep sacks as a baby so maybe it felt familiar. He has plenty of room inside of it to move around yet his feet still stick out so he isn’t all tangled in it like he gets with a blanket. We ordered the 2T which is pretty big but I feared him growing out of a smaller size too quickly or not having enough room to live around. Come morning when I take it off his body is still warm as if he had been sleeping with blankets. Definitely well made and worth the money.

Wonderful for a toddler who kicks off his covers!
My 2 and a half year old son does not keep covers on him at night. I always had to go in his room at night to cover him back up so he wouldn't be too cold. I was ordering a sleep sack for my 6 month old baby when I saw that they had these for older kids. It's as perfect for toddlers as the infant ones are for babies! My son doesn't seem to mind wearing this at all and he loves that there is a truck on the front. When I first put it on him I thought it was a little big because the bottom part almost touches the floor but he is easily able to walk around and climb in and out of bed with this on. I think this helps to keep him warm at night even though I still go in and tuck him in when I wake up. But it makes me feel better that he is not too cold at night (his room gets a little colder than the rest of the bedrooms). When this is new the fleece is so plush and fluffy, but it does flatten out a little after several washes. But the fleece is still warm and this has help up very well with many washings. I love this and recommend for any toddlers who kick their covers off!

Soft, maneuverable, and warm! Runs on the big side.
My toddler does not like to have his feet covered when he sleeps and tends to kick off blankets so its a constant battle to keep him covered up at night.. as a result I tend to ratchet up the heater which is getting expensive. Enter the halo sleep sack. His feet are not covered so he is happy. He is nice and warm all night so I am happy. To top it off he is still mobile so if he wakes up in the middle of the night and comes out of his room he isn't hopping around like he is competing in a potato sack race! Pros: Made well. Soft. Good build quality (stitching, sippers, etc) Cons: On the big side. My son wears 3T and some smaller fitting 4T sized clothes. 3T/4T on this thing is big for him. It fits but he looks like MC Hammer. This will probably fit until he is 4-5 years old!

Excellent product, bought for my 20 month old who had moved out of the baby sleep suits but still wasn't able to keep covers on during sleep so this was the perfect solution it's around 1 tog thickness lovely and soft and is large so is just like having a thin blanket around her, on colder nights I also cover her with an additional blanket but have the reassurance that if the extra blanket comes off she will still be covered by the sleep suit, thanks for a great product

We changed the cot into a bed but our daughter just doesn't like duvet's, she missed her old sleepsack and was waking in the night from being cold. So after several weeks of wakeups with finally relented to buying another giant sleepsack. She's tall for two so with gone for the size 4-5 and its definitely helping and she can walk in it so when she wakes up she can still get out of bed.
