These darts work perfectly for my blowgun. They are made of a softer lighter metal, a thin point, and an orange plastic cap attached to the metal shaft. These are nice to target practice. However if you shoot at a harder surface, say a tree or peice of wood, the tips will bend pretty fast. I recommend using a softer target like foam. If you shoot them through an object the darts are able to completely pass through, most of the time the plastic caps will come off making the dart pass all the way through. Just some tips I have notices while using them. They come with rubber covers over the tips which I like so none of them arrived to me bent before use.

Excellent darts and very sharp! Nice weight for good penetration even at a good distance. Managed to take out three groundhogs that have been raiding neighborhood gardens and devouring veggies as well as flowers. First groundhog hit just behind the shoulder- ran ten feet to fence and collapsed. Second one took two darts due to my bad aim. third one, one dart. In each case, darts went in about 80% of length. Two groundhogs left to go and they're so traumatized that a hissing sound sends them into a headlong panic. They've associated the sound of the blowgun with what happened to their furry little garden munching friends. A friend wanted the groundhogs to eat (YUK!!). He says they taste like beef. No thanks!!

Good practice darts. They are pointy. I think calling them broadheads is a little misleading. Not sharp like a blade at all. A little work on the bench grinder or a file will fix this.

Worked well, I did sharpen the tips a bit with a file, but only one side of the blade and tip, rotate 180, do the same. The dart will turn a bit in the prey, helping it not be pulled easily. Got a few invasive Eastern Grey Squirrels with these and long range bamboo diets. 28 in total. Our Western Grey Squirrel is now protected and may be endangered as the Easterns have taken over here in the PNW.
