Nice replacement servo that I'm using for my Traxxas slash 2wd. I'm sure it's compatible with other rc's and other applications. It is responsive for bashing around and just having fun. Will definitely buy this again for my other trucks when the time comes.

It does exactly what it says It's gonna do. Includes a good metal servo horn also. I've had many of these, and they hold up to abuse pretty well

I needed this for a steering servo on an old R/C crawler build using Clodbuster axles. It was built over 20 years ago, and back then a good strong servo meant a big price tag! It was originally built with a Hitec HS-645mg which was OK, but a little weak to turn the large tires, especially in any kind of terrain. It was later replaced with a 1/4 scale servo which didn't do much better. Now I've decided to refurbish that old crawler and get it running again, but replaced the servo with this one, and Wow! What a difference it made! lol This servo doesn't even struggle in the worst situations. When asked to, the servo is moving. If the tires are jammed up between stuff, they flex and twist and do what they have to, but it's steering.... lol Very impressed with it. The aluminum arm it comes with is a nice quality too, and looks nice. The length and all worked perfectly for my old crawler too, I get just enough steering at full rates to go lock to lock which made things easy to set up. I highly doubt you'd find a better servo for this application for a better price.

using currently as an auto purge valve for a sediment filter. its strong enough to open a ball valve and close it. its really fast, i should slow it down a bit to prevent the nasty hammer when closing. for arduino use, your setup line needs a different than default pwm. A min of 500 and max of 2500... it looks like this: servo.attach(SERVO_PIN, 500, 2500) the servo can operate at 50hz all the way up to 300hz.

Solid servo. Already put a few packs thru it and it is great. Fully compatible with the traxxas servo saver and fits just right on the LCG chassis. Not very loud and very strong. Functions just as i had hoped as well.

Servo has great torque for the price, and installed on the TRX4 with ease. I knew that I would need an extender for the servo cable, but I wanted that anyway in case I have to do a replacement at an event and don't want to open up the receiver box/waterproof cable entry. The metal servo horn works OK on the Trx4, I installed the link in the outer (24mm) hole, and after adjusting the limits, I have full steering without any interference in the arc of the horn. There is a however bit of binding against one of the rod ends and the bottom of the horn when the suspension is fully compressed. I choose to ignore this. The reason for 3 stars, is that the servo does not re-center well. I am constantly trying to trim the steering, but after another couple turns it is out of whack again. This is bearable on a slow vehicle like a rock crawler, but would simply be unusable on a fast vehicle like my Revo. I will eventually get a high quality servo to run full time and keep this as a low price, acceptable quality and decent torque back-up servo. *Update: I forgot to mention that I reused the horn screw from my original Traxxas servo, as it had a thread locker patch on the threads that this servo does not have. Also, I have not noticed any brown out issues using this servo without a BEC.

Love the product for its high torque. Good for life testing quick setup jig.

The servo arrived in good time and the quality of the servo is as advertised.
