Dear Judy, You should not be in pain a year out from your surgery. To answer you question, yes, it will cover your bicep. My hubby(the user of the Thermopeutic wrap)is 7 weeks out from his rotator cuff repair. He is still using a heating pad prior to his exercises, and the cold wrap after. He usually does the exercises 3-4 X a day. He is still taking an anti-inflammatory drug prescribed by his surgeon, only needs 2 a day. I feel that you need to be seen by an orthopedist .Best of luck to you!
