Excellent picture quality and connectivity with portability.
Loved this LG small lightweight projector, loaded with full of features and inputs with excellent picture quality. It projects up to 100 inch with great quality even a bit more comfortably on white wall I have in dark room. In dark room, you won't see a difference in FHD TV quality and output picture from this projector, we didn't need a tv after buying this. It is enough bright with dim lit environment but not in day light. It also integrates seamlessly with my Harman bluetooth speaker, FireTV stick and android phone. Having an in-built battery is an advantage and can run 1.5 hrs of movie in eco mode. Projector can be charged with power bank as well as power source, I have old Powebank which does not fast charge though. I think only the downside is the WebOS which LG should upgrade for projectors as well. However with firetv stick other applications can be added. We are extremely happy with the decision to buy this over others available projector in this range. We have every weekend a movie night now with family. It’s extremely portable and easy to setup. I would recommend this project.

Very good if you can get it at a discount
Have had this for almost 2 years, the picture quality if phenomenal. The best settings are if you set the picture to "vivid" mode the colours pop very well. It has very easy integration with blue tooth headphones and speakers as well as a audio jack for wired headphones if you want. I used google TV with it and it works very well, just need the google remote now other than connecting Bluetooth headphones to it with the regular remote. The battery also lasts for almost 2 hours on regular brightness so you can use it for presentations or short movies, etc. Cons: -If you plan on using this without a TV stick of some sort like google TV, firestick etc. The LG OS is rather limited, it has netflix but not much else (e.g. prime, disney + etc). So get it with a 3rd party TV stick if you can. - The fans at max brightness are fairly loud. Since this projector doesn't have a zoom function you need to physically position it at a certain distance to get a certain size screen. For that reason at further distance the 400 or so lumens of the mid brightness won't do the trick so you'll use the max brightness. Which is where the fans get loud all of a sudden. Thats the only issue. - Don't use this for image sizes above 70 or so inches generally for the best image brightness unless you want to buy a projector screen. You can go up to 100 inches but your rooms lighting will have to be very well controlled and you'll likely need a high quality projector screen to reflect back as much light as possible otherwise it's a bit too dim. Other than that it's a very respectable product if you can get it around the £400 mark. At £500 its got more steep competition.

Small, portable, quiet enough, great image quality with native 1080p.
Great product, small, light and has a simplistic design that will age well. Imagine quality is impressive, colours realistic, image sharp and if they aren’t to your taste, easily adjustable. On the the two lowest power settings the machine’s noise is non-intrusive but on the highest (brightest) setting, can whine. Unfortunately navigation when using the internet is arduous, the movement of the cursor can be frustratingly unpredictable. The machine will pair with AirPods, but unfortunately the default sound output is at maximum and cannot be adjusted, be prepared for a potential ear-bleed.

Things need to be clearer when buying this projector
The projector it’s self is a really good product but on opening the box I had a remote but no battery and no instructions. Also when advertising this product it should be made clear that is doesn’t support apple products. After doing a lot of research finding out I need a cable for my phone to then find out that Netflix and prime are not support this isn’t out and is a big flaw if I had known this at the start I wouldn’t have purchased this

Great…if it works
Great image quality, relatively easy to set up and a nice modern design. My main issue was that the applications did not work so I needed to use a firestick instead. I asked for a replacement from lg but they told me that this was a common problem and that they didn’t have any in stock. My advice is to test it fully before throwing away the box!

Superb portable projector
I am really impressed by the LG minibeam projector. It is amazingly small and portable and contains a battery that can be used to project images without the power source. The quality of the picture is absolutely amazing although it is best used in a dim room. The picture is watchable in a room with some ambient light but is far better in a dark room. As long as you will be using the projector in a suitable situation with low levels of ambient light this projector is absolutely amazing. The built-in apps are ok. Netflix works well and it has YouTube built-in as well. However I would recommend connecting a USB stick to this projector to get more choice of channels. I use my sky HD box connected to the projector and the image is great. lastly the audio output of the projector is not great. However for most people like myself this is not a deal breaker as it has an audio out connection and you can connect to easily to a hi-fi or soundbar. The fact it has a 3.5 mm audio output is one of the reasons I purchased this projector ahead of other options. Fan noise from the projector is very good particularly on the middle or low setting. In a dark room I use the middle setting which gives a good picture and has very low fan noise. The highest brightness setting is better if you have some ambient light but the fan noise is significantly louder.
