TICONN 100 Pcs Solder Seal Wire Connectors, Heat Shrink Butt Connectors, Waterproof and Insulated Electrical Wire Terminals, Butt Splice (100PCS)

This was my first time using these, so i decided to get a heat gun to use, and they work great. As advertised, slide em on the wire, twist the ends together using a "Western Union wire splice" {easy instructions on Youtube}, then slide the connector over the center of that splice, heat it up in the middle, then shrink the ends and boom, you are done. Works great, and so far more durable than crimp style butt connectors. I'm a computer tech, and prefer solder connections to mechanical ones especially in low voltage wiring so was very happy with the outcome. Lots of sizes in the kit, inexpensive and they work!!

Works great on joint automotive electrical wiring.

There easy to use

These are amazing. Only difficult part is holding two wires and doing heat at same time. Wire insulation will discolor if not careful with the heat. I saw a great video someone made testing this, but they didn't add enough heat to melt soldier. The ring in the middle WILL MELT when you get temp high enough and you will see it melt between wires and make a very solid connection.

Easy to use with a secured wire splice result. Please use a heat gun . No matches. Lol

Used these for wiring a new headunit into my suv. Bit more difficult to use compared to older style ones since you have to hold both wires in place and be careful with where the heat from the gun is going while you melt the solder and glue. I did it inside the cabin of the vehicle so it's possible. Definitely would have been easier out on a table. Makes a solid connection, definitely looks waterproof.

This set of connectors do very well in keeping your connections together. Will buy more when needed. Very fast shipping. Price was good for the amount you get.

These seem to have a higher melting point than others I’ve used so the shrink melts before the solder and I went through 4-5 before I got it to work correctly. Could be better
