Whiskware Salad Dressing Shaker with BlenderBall Wire Whisk, Glass

Great for making your own oil based dressings(usually French Dijon Vinaigrette) size is perfect for one person a full one last 10 to 14 days. Good deal easy to grip and shake looks basic modern. Super easy to clean a good rinse and the dishwasher gets it clean.

I grew up with my mom making ranch dressing in the Hidden Valley classic plastic dressing shaker. Eventually this broke and we tossed it, never got replaced. But I have lovely memories of shaking the dressing forever *literally forever* while mom was cooking. My four year old self would have tired noodle arms 1/2 way through. This shaker has a the whisk ball and whips it faster and better. An improvement for sure. The lid DOES NOT leak. The dressing stays emulsified. It looks great on the dinner table. Stores well in the fridge. It's easy to clean. You can put all parts of the glass one in the dishwasher (bottle, lid, and whisk), but I've just hand washed in the sink because it's fast and easy, nbd. I bought the glass one. At first I thought this would be too big, but it's actually the perfect size for my family. Now, my nuclear family is weird: they prefer the prefab Hidden Valley ranch. I prefer homemade with Best Foods mayo, local buttermilk, and Hidden Valley powder. I made up salads last night with dinner and insisted they try out my homemade ranch with the shaker, you know- because I just bought this thing and I wanna make sure I got my money's worth, yadda yadda. Well let me tell you what folks- I have some ranch dressing converts!! My twins are already looking at homemade oil and vinegar dressing recipes. We definitely like the idea of knowing exactly what's going into our dressing so we can make it as healthy as we want. My little guy loves his ranch though...might have a mini civil war in the house over who gets to pick the dressing lol

This works well to really mix the ingredients. I love that it is glass. The plastic top and silicone seal might retain odors if I didn’t use Dawn power wash. As it stands it’s the best salad vinaigrette mixer, storer and dispenser I have ever had. We eat salad daily and make a Greek style vinaigrette once a week.

I'm a homemade salad dressing enthusiast. Glad to have this much larger shaker. This is my second glass dressing shaker. My first one, a 10-ounce shaker, is still going strong but is no longer manufactured. Yesterday I received my new Whiskware shaker, and I immediately washed it and prepared a fresh balsamic vinaigrette. I funneled and poured in all the ingredients, tossed in the BlenderBall, screwed on the lid and shook. The BlenderBall seemed to help the Dijon mustard quickly get incorporated. It definitely took less shaking time to blend all ingredients and emulsify the oil, an improvement over my other shaker. The measurement markings on Whiskware’s shaker are excellent. There is no need to use separate measuring cups; just pour directly into the shaker. Although the BlenderBall did a fine job of mixing in the mustard, I removed it after the initial shake. Yes, the ball is made of "medical-grade" stainless steel, but I saw no need to leave it soaking in my salad dressing. It’s an excellent shaker with or without the ball. Only a few shakes without the ball re-emulsifies the oil. A strong index finger is required to operate the pouring spout. And there will be a bit of dribbling down the side of the cap after pouring. If you release the cap to close while the bottle is still pointed downward, the dribbling will be minimal. See the picture I’ve included. I make my own carrot/ginger salad dressing and this was perfect for it. The only thing I struggled with is that a lot pours out. I don't have a problem with ease of use or dripping. It's large but not too large so the dressing won't be going bad before I need to make more. Good quality and reasonably priced.

I chose this particular shaker bottle because it is glass. All the plastic container ones seem to stain or hold the stain/color of certain ingredients you put in for salad dressings. Plus, it's easier to clean oil out of glass than it is to clean it out of plastic (unless you place in dishwasher). This is super easy to clean, plus it is larger than standard dressing bottles, so you can mix a slightly larger batch. I regularly make a dijon vinaigrette dressing, and the mustard does NOT stain any part of this item. Love the mixing ball whisk, it works great, and super easy to clean that as well since it's metal. Would purchase this again if I wanted a 2nd one.

I bought this shaker bottle to make & hold my homemade Greek salad dressing. The wide bottle opening is the perfect size to add various spices without spilling. The metal shaker ball is perfect for blending your ingredients together when making or reshaking as you use it. The wide bottle opening also makes it very easy to clean.

This is my second purchase of this very useful salad dressing shaker. (I dropped and broke the first one.) I try not to store food in plastics whenever possible, so this glass shaker is multi-functional. Measurements on the side to make recipes easy, wide mouth for inserting immersion blender if needed, and the seal is good. Designed for easy use, and pops right in the dishwasher. I hope I don't break this one too, but if I do, I'll replace with the same product if still available.
