I’ve been making mojitos at home using mint from my garden. I was so excited until I tasted it! Nothing like what I get when I go out. I knew I needed a muddle for enhance the flavor of the mint. I decided on this one because of the slick appearance. It works great! My mojitos are now pack full of flavor! This is great quality and had a nice weight to it.

So I somehow got on a quest to make a tasty Brandy Old Fashioned. Maybe it's because I live in Wisconsin. I've never really been into them and have had only a few in my life. Lately though, it just sounds like a good drink. I figured out what ingredients I needed, looked up recipes, and saw I needed a muddler. I had no idea what that even was. I looked it up on Amazon and came across this one. It arrived on time, and I put it to use right away. The mixing spoon has been a nice touch, as well! I've made several Brandy Old Fashioned's (both sweet and sour). The muddler does a great job of muddling the sugar and fruit without damaging the glass. It is super easy to clean each time. As far as my quest? According to my wife, I have a long ways to go. I think they taste fine, but she says they're awful...no fault of the muddler though. So I'll happily continue muddling and mixing until I find the right combination. Cheers!

I've been meaning to get a muddler for quite sometime now and I finally did it! The muddler and mixing spoon arrived on time and put it to use as soon as I got them. I would have given it a five star, but every time I clean I have to separate pull apart the muddler from the handle else liquid gets in between the 2 pcs. and to this day I haven't gotten the Cocktail Recipes ebook. Now, I just need to get a Cocktail Shaker and a bunch of Liquor Pourers. and I will be good!

I bought these about a month ago. I haven't looked at the cocktail eBook, so I can't speak to that. I have, however, now used both the spoon and muddler many times, and I am more than happy with both. Cons: The spoon isn't angled, so it can't easily retrieve things the fork can't impale. The spoon is rather small, and I will likely never use it for adding anything to drinks. Pros: Everything else. $8.50 for both (at this time). The lengths of the spoon and muddler (Both are ~10 inches, as advertised.) make each of them perfect for every glass I own. They're both sturdy and have no trouble maneuvering through generous amounts of ice, etc. in the glass. The spoon's fork helps remove fruit skins and the like from inside a glass. The texture at the end of the muddler makes muddling quick and easy, and the nylon material is tough enough to muddle but soft enough not to damage the glass or cause any blood-curdling noises.

I bought this because I needed it in a pinch for a bachelor weekend. I was honestly somewhat shocked at the quality of it. It was exactly what I was looking for. Works great and washes very easily due to being stainless. I would recommend this product.

Shipment arrived ahead of promised delivery date well packaged. Product is just as described. Since in this case my purchase was cost driven expectations were not lofty but the muddler far exceeded even what I was hoping to get. I have used it only a few times but it seems strong and cleans up easily, not sure what more you can desire from a cocktail muddler. I Did have some confusion on how to obtain the ebook but seller was very responsive and helpful in getting it to me. My only disappointment was with the ebook as it was only a handful of recipes none of which I haven’t seen a hundred times. I was hoping for a bartenders guide but merely basic cocktail recipes. If your looking for a basic muddler for your home bar then I say go for it, its no worse than ones twice the price.

Caipirinha, Cuba Libre, Mint Julep... it's hard to know how these could be made without a muddler to bash the key ingredients! As well as getting the juice out of lime pieces, the Muddler can bring out the flavour of the zest which brings extra depth of flavour to a Cuba Libre. And using the muddler to bruise the mint for a Mint Julep makes a big difference to the quality of the drink. The muddler is made of stainless steel topped with a section of textured nylon at the business end. It's very robust and easy to keep clean. The bar spoon is also good quality with a fork at one end which is handy for spearing ingredients. This is a decent quality, good-looking set at a very good price.
